This is probably fine for most things that you'll want to fix on your car, but unfortunately it doesn't cover the problem I'm dealing with (the air vent valves that control the level of hot/cold air). So, for me, it is currently useless.

Typical Haynes Manual. Does what it needs to do but does not cover all issues and is not exact to all issues as well.

I think this manual is trying to be too broad and doesn't have picture of where the parts are for my model. I bought it because I was having a hard time finding where a certain part is in my engine bay and was having little luck online. This manual shows it for almost every other model but mine. I have these for other vehicles, and love them. This one just fall short.

I needed to know all about the overhead valves on my engine ! Found out every thing ! Including step by step how to remove and inspect the camshaft and replacement of damaged components ! I will have a machine shop CK the heads for cracks ! Then resurface each head and assemble the new parts ! Thank you for this book !

Covered solutions to my 2 repair problems well.

Its a good manual, but it clumps in 1st gen Escapes and 2nd gen Escapes together. Most of the images are not for my 09 V6 xlt. Wish they just had a book for the 08-12 V6 models.

Resived in great shape ty
