I use these to keep my mittens on my dog's paws by clipping them to his harness. I do this when I ride my bike with him in the cold, where he sits in a dog carrier attached to my seat post so he sits right in front of me behind the handlebars, so his paws rest on the handle bars with big floppy mittens. Looks pretty darn cute, and I know his paws stay warm on any cold day. BTW, the dog carrier is Buddy Rider. Check it out, it's awesome. So much better than backpack that holds the dog, a basket in front of the handlebars, or a seat or carriage on the back of the bike where I can't see him. Anyway, these clips are stronger than the ones I used before, which ultimately the clasp broke on the several that I owned.

The elastic is durable and secured well to the clasps. The clasps are a little difficult to open but that keeps them securely fastened when in use.

I bought this product to clip my toddlers gloves together and attach them to his coat. The clips don’t open very wide enough so I can barely get the gloves clipped together and can’t even clip it to the jacket. It’s fine for thin items.

I was having problems with the bottoms of my work pants pulling up and getting stuck on top of my boots. I bought these to attach to my laces and the bottoms of my pants to keep them down. It looked silly but worked great.
