I've purchased some of the cheaper flags that are light weight nylon. If you plan on putting it on a side of the house flagpole, you need a heavy weight flag.I read the reviews from some indicating an issue with the stitching and the reinforcement in the V notch.This flag has now been up for several weeks and no issues or problems.The stitching and reinforcement appears well done. There is no unraveling or problems.The weight is very good and the grommets are well placed.A perfect size for a flag pole on the side of the house. Worth the money.

UPDATE: I loved this flag when I received it. It was very well made. Alas, the material did not match the construction: the flag shredded in our Wyoming winds after only 2 months. I usually get 2-3 years out of a flag. So not even ONE year is a pretty sad showing. I've dropped my rating to 1 star from 5. Such a pity.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just received my new (Wyoming) flag today: my old one was shredded last week in a Wyoming Wind Storm. I was amazed at the high quality. One duty in my last job was to replace the flags in front of the main building whenever the wind had destroyed them. Over the years, I'd replaced a whole lot of USA and Wyoming flags--we bought them in bulk. But not one of them equaled the quality of this flag I just received. All were printed. The state seal on this flag is actually embroidered, not printed—something I've seldom seen, and NEVER in a state flag. Highly recommended!

I bought this flag because it was very reasonably priced and yet described as Premium Embroidered, Heavy Duty 300D Nylon, Sewn Stripes and Brass Grommets. Best American Rhode Island Flags Great for Outdoor/Indoor Display. But after less than five months of outdoor use. the yellow border separated from the body of the flag which then became shredded in the wind. I didn't expect it to last forever, but I am disappointed that it only lasted five months. I do live in central Florida where we do have a windy climate at times during the year. Next time, I'll try to buy a more expensive flag and hope it will last longer. This flag looks very nice and would be very well suited to indoor use.

This flag is pretty well built, however, they have essentially stitched two flags together, back to back. What that leads to is one correct flag and one flag seemingly flying "upside-down". It is oddly disconcerting.According to California Government Code, "as viewed with the hoist end of the flag to the left of the observer there appears in the upper left-hand corner of a white field a five-pointed red star... a brown grizzly bear walking toward the left".The standard way this flag is viewed (and notably shown in every Amazon image provided) is with the star in the upper hoist end and the bear walking toward the same. While one side their stitched flag is correct, the other has the star positioned at the fly-end (bottom) and the bear walking opposite the hoist.I can understand how a mistake like this is made, it seems somewhat intuitive to sew two identical flags back-to-back. Unfortunately, this flag cannot be flown without looking extremely bizarre. If your intention is to use this flag solely as a wall-hanging it may still work, however, the flag is semi-transparent so you may see a bit of the backward flag through the fabric.

I wanted to buy a flag to represent my home state in the Office and saw this flag for sale. When it finally arrived I was blown away.The material of this flag is a very thick nylon that has a good bit of weight to it. All of the stitches are re-enforced where the pieces of fabric meet. The stars are all perfectly embroidered with no flaws or mistakes. Everyone comments about how great the flag looks and feels compared to other state flags sold.These flags look like they are made to last both indoors and outdoors. For the price of this flag, and the workmanship that you receive, no one should pass this up.

This flag looked great when it arrived, bright colors and felt heavy and well made.We hung it out on May 1st 2018 and always took it in for times of strong winds and heavy rain.The blue and red have faded so bad in two months that it looks like it is a very old flag. We expected to at least get one year of use from it but that is not the case.2 months old and we need to replace it.If you only want a flag to display for 1 or 2 months, this is the one to buy.If you want one to display for a season or longer this is NOT the flag to buy.

When we first received the flag it seemed like a good quality and material. That was very deceiving, the flag is only 7 months old and still has the original fold creases, but it is garbage now. As you can see the end is falling off and the flag has started to unravel. According to the description that this is a durable flag, it is not. This was only flown for the summer months and came down during storms and high winds and still in regular weather for Wisconsin this did not hold. Not recommended.
