Fits Perfectly and Works Great!
I absolutely love this PelletVent Pro Horizontal Cap! While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the quality is top-notch and well worth the investment. It fits my Selkirk brand setup perfectly, and installation was a breeze. Much better solution that the Selkirk horizontal it replaced.It looks great and functions as it should, providing excellent venting for my pellet stove. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality cap, this one’s a great choice. Highly recommend!

Solid Quality
I bought this to put on my pellet stove exhaust pipe in the summer to keep the birds out. My current cap is large but open and the birds want to build nests inside of the pipe every spring. I discovered that capping off the pipe is not good as it does not allow ventilation through the stove in the summer and things inside start to rust. This should keep the birds out while allowing good ventilation. Solid quality.

A little pricey, but it's a very high quality tip. I ran out of pellets and haven't had a chance to see it burn for a few weeks, but I like the versatility of its tip and ability to point in different directions. Our unit is a corner install that exhausts in the general vicinity of our main door, so I like that we can angle it slightly in the other direction. It also concentrates the thrust slightly at the tip and pushes the exhaust farther away; which is the opposite of the former vent tip. That one was like a large metal dryer vent that faced down, causing the exhaust to linger closer to our entry way.

No screen??
Mine has no screen. I can definitely see where rodents and insects would not have any difficulty entering the pipe. Not happy with this Duravent product.
