Popped one in and off it goes, smells really fresh, my mum had someone come out to install her new machine and he said these are highly recommended, hopefully they'll do a good job at keeping my machine in tip top shape, will use monthly as my machine is used at least 5 times a week.Might try in the dishwasher too and see how it does in comparison to the finish dishwasher cleaner I use once a month.

Good cleaner for both washing machine’s & dishwashers

So we have a decent Bosch washing machine, but after about 6 moths of use, the towels we were washing were coming out feeling rough even with repeated washing and the use of fabric conditioner and outdoor line drying. We hadn't been using any cleaner / descaling products at all up to that point. I started running these through the machine and because we hadn't used them for several months, I was doing a 90 degree empty wash with the sachets, and more frequently than recommended period (once every two weeks or so rather than every month). Eventually, the towels started to soften and although they're not coming out like they were when new, they are a considerable improvement. Just a quick note - if you put 2 sachets in and do an empty wash at 90C, you may find the amount of suds created bubble up through your machine and out through the soap drawer. I am of course not using the product as intended when I do this, but as I mentioned, I wanted to undo the scale accumulated from all the months we'd never used these. Using 1 sachet at a time, even at 90C, I've never had any machine leaks. If you have soft items coming out feeling rough, I'd suggest you've been using too much powder and there's too much scale built up internally, even if you can't see it. Try these sachets in an intensive way like I have to fix this, or if you're starting to use a brand new machine, start putting these through at 60C once a month to stop any scale developing.

Used this product for years on dishwasher & washing machine since moving to a hard water area.Without it the washing machine broke down within a year from new.

I have tried other brands which are available in supermarkets but this appears to be more effective. My water supply is from a well, so it's very hard and leaves huge amounts of scale. I use this stuff once a fortnight after every other weekly wash of teatowels which leave a lot of rather whiffy fluff and the inside of the drum is fresh and sparkling. It's also noted that the service man doesn't need to come as often so it must be doing the invisible bits of the machine some good. Don't forget to run your fingers inside the rubber door seal to remove fluff.

I use this for my washing machine and dishwasher I normally pay over £10 for a pack of 12 sachets so these were quite cheap. Although a slight snag with my order at first as I only received 6 sachets. I contacted One Stop and Garry sorted the problem and sent me out another 6 sachets straight away.
