Not worth it and a brief review
I don't think it's worth 6.5k because there are coolers like hyper 103 or antec a40 pro which costs less than 2k and has much better results in cooling the cpu under stress. Noctua l9i would hit 80C+ in stress tests while hyper 103 or hyper 212 turbo led 2 fan edition(costs 3k) would stay at 60C+ and 50C+ in my tests. My test pc:i7 67008gb x2 hyper x 2133 ddr4gtx 1060 strix 6gbwd blue 1tb x2kingston 120gb ssdDon't buy it just because of its brand nameIf you need to go with a low profile cooler for your htpc build there are better and cheaper options- cryorig c7 and silverstone ar06 and 05Update- I got the same cooler at 3519 from primeabgbThoughts- This cooler is heavily underrated as a regular use cooler. While the synthetic benchmark temperatures may be on the higher side for my comfort but we don't use pc to run synthetic benchmarks on a day to day basis do we? My sole purpose of getting this was to keep the stock cooler safe for trading the cpu later or if I ever have to send it for service. Also that I hate the mounting procedure and fastening techniques of intel stick coolers. they're prone to damage easily and have bad experiences in the past. Also that it's good to know that a heavy tower cooler such as a Hyper 212 won't be dangling over the gpu. In my tests with battlefield 1, mafia 3 and gta v which are pretty cpu intensive games I've found the temperatures of my i7 6700 never going past 64°C(average temperature being 55-58°C) on peak usage or load. I imagine it will be around 70-75C when I edit videos and render them at 1080p. Updates coming soon. In other words this is a pretty capable cooler for intel 115x CPUs (unless you're thinking of using it with k series CPUs and kaby lake mainstreams).
