Under the ASTM Class 75 test for impact a shoe must withstand a 75 lb. impact with 12.7 mm (0.50 in.) clearance for men’s and 11.9 mm (0.468 in.) for women’s. Under the Class 75 test for compression, a shoe must withstand 2500 lbs. of compression while maintaining at least 12.7 mm (0.50 in.) for men’s and 11.9 mm (0.468 in.) for women’s. The composite safety toe cap features a high-tech molded polymer cap with a weight that is one-third less than a traditional steel toe cap. These protective shells are made of non-conductive material which does not transmit heat or cold and does not activate metal detectors. They are non-magnetic and static free. The unique design dissipates impact and meets or exceeds ASTM 2413-11 I/75 c/75 impact and compression specifications. There are no government regulations creating slip-resistant standards but a minimum wet slip resistance value of 0.5 is classified slip resistant with a minimum value of 0.25 recommended in oily or contaminated surfaces. Very Robust Shoe for Real Work!
These are the real deal; a robust work shoe with a good gripping lug. If you need a good quality, heavy duty toe protection shoe, this is the one to buy. It's like a nice steel toe workboot, but condensed into an easy to get on, slip-on shoe. My feet feel unprotected and vulnerable when I wear my other casual shoes. These shoes would be great for many tradesmen, medical personnel, or in very crowded venue where your toes will likely get squashed.

Solid work shoe!
Knew right away when I tried them on I was all set! Wide=wide and length was good! Ive had to return shoes once or twice but not this time.....look to be good quality, time tells all.
