Life-Saver for Potty Training Yorkie
I have a Yorkshire Terrier, and everyone knows how challenging it is to housebreak a Yorkie. I purchased this pen for this purpose only. The fact that it has a door that latches is a big help. First thing in the a.m., I carry him to the pen and lock the door. I don't want to take him outside since I live in a 2 story walkup, and I don't feel like standing around outside waiting for him to pee.I don't want to use his crate since that's his safe place and not meant to be peed in. I open the door once he has peed and leave it open so he can use it as he needs throughout the day, which is rare since I take him out for walks 3 times a day. This pen is very easy to put together and take apart again. It is rather large (36" square) for such a small dog, but now that he is accustomed to using it as a bathroom, I reduced the size to a 36" x 24" rectangle. I had to be creative because I couldn't purchase new panels from the seller since they don't offer such a thing. Too bad they don't. I removed the two sides and replaced them with two 24" squares I had from an interlocking exercise mat that I had purchased during Covid. I just used Gorilla Tape to attach the two squares to the two remaining 36" panels. So, I still have use of the locking door. This pen is kind of flimsy so it would only work for small dogs/puppies. My Yorkie will stand on his hind legs and lean on the door when he wants out, but the pen doesn't move or fall over. This pen would also work well for keeping your puppy in a safe place when you are unable to watch him closely. And it looks nice too. Of course, not so much with my improvised panels, but the pen is black and so are the exercise panels I used.

Great indoor play pen for small dogs
We got this play pen for our small puppy a few months ago and it has really worked out great. We originally set it up with all six sides, but that was too big and we easily reduced it to 4. He’s small to medium sized and has plenty of space in there. Mostly he likes to relax in his bed in a corner. It’s been very durable and our puppy who likes to bite and chew everything has thankfully left it alone. The door has two latches that sometimes grab a bit and takes an extra second or two to release, but that’s a minor thing. We haven’t transported it but it’s lightweight and seems easy to do.

Sturdy and Spacious Pet Playpen
This IRIS USA pet playpen is exactly what I needed for my small dog! It’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it easy to move around while still feeling secure. The 24-inch height is perfect for small pets, giving them enough room to move while keeping them safely contained. The door latch works well, and assembly was super simple—everything snaps together easily. I also love that it can be adjusted into different shapes to fit my space. Overall, a great quality, versatile, and reliable playpen for indoor use. Highly recommend!

Good… but needs improvement
I love the concept of this item. However, it definitely needs some improvement. It doesn’t stand up the way that it should. So a strong or a big dog could easily knock it over. It’s perfect to contain my small dog, and I love the fact that you can expand it or make it smaller as needed. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble.

Dog play pen must have
At first.I was a little apprehensive in buying this product, but it has been a huge life saver and help me to confine my dog to a limited space period I love the functionality of it including it, easily falls up. It came as a one piece. It was not hard to assemble and it's 30 I can take this with me to the park. A friend's house or use it at home. You do need a large space for it.Great for my small pups including medium sized dogs

This pen is better than the reviews I read said it is.
I got the 8 panel 34" high black enclosure. And it's sturdy enough, it's heavier than I thought it would be, reading the more negative reviews. It's a good quality of plastic, snaps together securely. Plenty of play area for the spaniels. No metal so no rust. You can use four panels all 8 panels or any flexible number in between. And it's functional as a dog play pen, as puppies or as an adult. Can be used indoors or out, so flexibility of use.

Ok product. Light and almost portable.
I’m a little surprised that this is an amazon’s choice. It’s ok but it’s not that cheap and it’s engineering and build quality is only average. I feel that should be the three major categories that get you an Amazon choice. I actually prefer spending more for better engineering and quality but I don’t quite see both of those in this product. Again, it’s ok and does the job. We have the 4 walled basic version in black. We’ve had it for two months. It does the job of keeping small animals in place. However, it’s made of thin light plastic which would have been an advantage for its portability. However, it can not fold upon itself and too difficult to pull apart, so it is actually and issue for transporting in a car. We have a 3 row suv and it actually doesn’t fit in the back unless both 2nd and 3rd row are down. Sure, you can take it apart but with a weaker plastic, I would worry about connecting and reconnecting the pieces frequently as I’m sure the plastic will eventually crack. Simple engineering such as two thin multi-jointed connection walls would have allowed it to fold upon itself. The lack of convenient portability is really the issue. Another example, taking it down stairs and through narrow walkways is an issue as it is 5‘10“ long “folded up”. It’s light enough to carry but awkward due to length. The anti-skid bottoms are very small and just enough resistance. Keep in mind the plastic itself again is light. Any animal more than 8 pounds can likely move it. However, most animals will recognize it as an enclosure and most won’t try to move it, so probably not much of a negative. This is for the four wall version. Not sure how the other version are.
