ALSO FOLDED NICELY TO OPEN OUT TO FULL SIZE, VIRTUALLY WEIGHTLESS, AND EASILY PACKABLE.EDUCATIONAL, CONVENIENT, WELL DONE AT A LOW PRICE. IMPERMEABLE TO WATER AND STAINS, PLASTICIZED SO WIPES CLEAN. REALLY GREAT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I love these. I have a basket with different ones that I set on the picnic table when camping with the scouts!

These are great little guides to keep around. I purchased a bunch of these (there’s a whole series) as they’re simple and informative. Fun to read with the kids in the tent as we sharpen our wilderness skills. Lightweight and thinly laminated, they should last a few summers no problemo.

Good product. It does a good job of showing the shape of the trees and the appearance of it's leaves or needles. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it had colored drawings of 12 of the various species bark instead of actual photos. It has photos on the front cover so I had hoped that it would have them on the inside as well.

First this is waterproof and foldable. It requires no phone or app to work. I am ready for the apocalypse!

I bought for my nephews as a Christmas gift. They received a ton of gifts. I'm confident that this is one of the ones they will use and remember. And it is educational and gets the family out hiking. I love that part even more.

Waterproof booklet contains 11 pages of North American trees. Trees are grouped by leaves. Needle like leaves, simple leaves, and compound leaves. There is also a page on sub tropical and desert trees and the bottom of the page shows distinctive bark descriptions of North American trees. Explains how to identify leaf shapes and arrangements. Illustrations are colored drawings. Brief descriptions on each tree.

got this for my BF and he loves it. not as in depth as a field guide but alot less bulky and much more likely to go out in the field with him and the pamphlet is waterproof too which is really handy. He really likes it.

A gift for my nephew who does a lot of hiking. He keeps it in his car so it's handy to take on the trails.

This is exactly what I need to help my class identify trees. One of the guides I ordered arrived very dirty and damaged by water. It has a lamination to it so I was able to wipe it clean with only a few spots of water damage that was pre-existing. I’m not going to other to return it because I need it for tomorrow. Amazon is becoming lax with the quality of the items that are being packed for delivery. It was obviously dirty before packageing.

I do not want this product. please refund my money!
