very informative and very interesting. small rip at the top of the book but otherwise it was a great purchase!

I use this to get an idea of silhouettes for upcoming plays that I’m costuming! On of my favorite books to reference!

I think this a very interesting book if you want to know about how the different fashions through the Ancient to the Modern Centuries and how the people wore them and what they looked like. I make cloth dolls and if your making anything with Cloth dolls or minidolls you need to make everything authentic. Even if you don't make doll clothes or dolls you would still find the book very interesting just finding out how people dressed through the centuries.

I'm using this book to help with my descriptions of clothing in my writing. The book is very helpful in those regards.

Nice book would recommend as references for tailors and artists alike.

Negativ überrascht. Das soll ein Standardwerk zum Thema sein?! Die Zeichnungen wirken wirklich ungelenk und wenig professionell - historische Hintergrundinformationen und Quellenangaben gibt es kaum ... da hätte ich mehr erwartet.

古代エジプト時代から1980年代迄の西洋の衣装が豊富なカラーイラストと解説（英文）で紹介されています。商品画像が小さくて分かり辛いと思いますが、イラストのタッチはファッションのデザイン画の様な感じなので細かいディテールを知るには不向きかもしれません。ですが、年代別（例：1610-1613、1613-1616、1620-1629といった様に細かい年刻み）に当時の衣装が紹介されているので、その時代の雰囲気を知りたい場合やイラストや漫画等のファンタジー資料には良さそうです。1Pあたりおよそ8人（8カット）ずつ掲載されています。タイトル通り「西洋の衣装」の本です。アジアの衣装は紹介されていません。貴族が多めかもしれませんが一般市民や給仕や料理人等も掲載されています。

Fabulous book. I can’t remember if this was advertised as new. It certainly looks like it’s never been read. Arrived fast.
