18” White Round Paper Lantern, Rice Paper Lamp Shade, Hanging Paper Lamp Paper Lantern Lamps (White-18inch-2PCS)

These paper lanterns were exactly what I was looking for. The 19-inch size makes them a nice statement piece without being overwhelming, and the white color gives a soft, warm glow when the light is on. They were easy to assemble and hang, and they instantly gave the room a more cozy, decorative feel. A great value for a set of two.

This is the perfect solution for my bedroom! I wanted something that was delicate, and gave my space a soft light. Added bonus: it doesn't take up valuable space on my nightstand. I suspended it from a fine chain, and used a chargeable light bulb. It's beautiful, and there are no ugly cords to deal with.

The lantern is very beautiful and simple. It's a good size. However putting it together the wire to hold it up broke at the top. It's incredibly fragile. We ended up using the second wire for the other lantern for the first. So kinda sucks at we're only able to use one.

These were exactly what I needed! I needed a paper lamp that wouldn't take up so much space in a small room like those big round lamps, so I opted for these and these are perfect! Great quality, easy to set up and looks beautiful with my Smart LED bulbs!

These are beautifully shaped. We also have an Akari in another room, and for most lay people you couldn't tell the difference because it's such a nice design.

Love this lantern/lamp shade so much!!! It’s gives Noguchi vibes but for a fraction of the cost. Plus it comes with two!!! So if you’re rough with the lantern during assembly (like some people in the reviews) you have an extra. Watch the video for how to assemble! My husband put it together in 2 minutes and had no issues, but I could see how it could be ripped or give you trouble if you try to wing it.

To fit a regular-sized light bulb through the top opening, you will have to release one side of the top wire brace, then insert your hanging bulb fixture, then fit the C-shaped wire portion of the brace around the cord, then reinsert the top brace. It's awkward and risks punching a hole through the delicate paper shade. If you're using an oval, chandelier-style bulb in your hanging cord fixture, you'll be fine. At the bottom, the glue around the seams creates an opaque area that looks cheap, but with the lamp on, it's not noticeable (see 2nd photo). One must be extra careful when expanding the lamp to insert the brace. If you "bow" the brace first, to make it shorter, it will fit, but you may feel like the shade is going to tear while you insert it. There should indeed be 2 entire lamps, i.e., 2 shades and 2 braces. Packed in an unnecessarily huge box, rectangular instead of a square box that would have sufficed just fine. Since I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a horizontally oval shade, I guess this is a decent price for the product, except that I didn't need 2 shades, so in effect I paid 32 bucks for 1 shade. The designer's eye wants what the designer's eye wants, sigh. Pay attention to the dimensions and disregard the website photo's scale; that's why I included 1 with a pen on it for scale. Apparently the website is into dollhouse furniture
