I love this cartoon. My mom loves this cartoon. I bought the book for her as a gift for her for Christmas. She sat in her chair and giggled for hours over the comics. I will be buying more the Pickles books. They are great for people with kids or even better for those with grandkids. Also, you never find this at any bookstores, so buy on Amazon. You will enjoy, trust me.

Bought this for my dad he's a pickles fan. He's commented several times over how much he enjoys reading that book. Great gift idea for someone who has everything they need.

This is my second Pickles book. Both are like reading a bio of my life. Our local paper did not carry the strip so I missed the early years, so it's fun to catch up. Except for the colors, the old fat dog and fat cat could live here.

While Brian Crane is very good at what he does and Pickles is a great read, the person who edited these books has done Mr. Crane a huge disservice. You find the beginning of a story line in one book. It continues in another and ends in yet another. Multiple story lines go like this. Sometimes, even when you get a hunk of story line, the panels are out of order. I found this 2x. Or you get some random set of panels and they make zero sense ie Earl suddenly has a hairpiece or a beard. It's jarring to have pieces of one story all over the place. I wish, like other books made from the comics page that they'd just gone in chronological order. I did not read Pickles in the paper first. I read the books first so some cohesiveness would have been appreciated.I happily would have paid for larger collections that made sense.

I bought this as a birthday present for my grandfather. He loved it and read it cover to cover within a day! He finds a lot of humour in the relatability of the strips, as I'm sure many people of his generation do. But the wit of the strips mean they can be enjoyed by all ages. Highly recommended.
