Q: How wide is the belt?

My belts are 1 1/2" wide, also when I ordered I expected my belts to have plastic buckles (according to picture) but they were metal and not great quality, however, they are functional.

Q: Is this tactical? If it ain't tactical don't waste my time

It's the same as 5.11 and they call theirs tactical. It's not heavy weight.

Q: Can the extra belt be cut

Yes. Just have to burn the cut end once done so it doesn't fray.
