I am very happy. I got it only for $50 and it's powerful. I was going to get a Bosch food processor for three times the price of this one but I decided to give this one a chance. I am very happy I did that!I make raw food for my dog at home. Out of the box this baby handled with perfect ease raw beef liver (cut up in 1-2 inch pieces) and raw chicken wings with the bone! I do chop them best I can with cleaver first. Would never put a whole bone in a food processor. But still am impressed how well it minced everything and how little time it took to mix it all together. I also added whole raw eggs with the shells and raw carrots. My pictures show this smooth mixture that I the mix by hand with ground turkey to my puppy's delight!I most like how space saving it is for its power. Easy to clean too! Great capacity of the container. Functional overall.A smart and strong machine that you should buy!(Only used food processor knives. I don't use blenders but am sure it'll do fine. I doubt the dough thing is useful. I bake a lot and Bosch has no equal for dough kneading machines! This doesn't look like it would do the trick but will try it on other types of mixtures, not dough - maybe ground meat to mix with spices and add ons for burger patties or for veggie burgers - these ones for me not the dog!)

I broke my other blender while making pesto. Ordered this and was able to finish the recipe 2 days later. I LOVE IT! It functions as a blender, mixer, and food processor. It handled nuts (the pesto) whereas the regular blender couldn’t. I washed it right away and used it twice more that same night (once for cake batter and once for icing). The next day I made salsa with it. It comes with 3 blade types and recipes to help you know which blade to use for which purpose. Very pleased! It stores in the same space that my blender used to sit in the cabinet. It’s easy to clean. Just make sure you pay attention to rinsing out the space within the handle that can get soap up in it. Also, I’ve learned my lesson about these kinds of appliances. You have to follow the rules about short pulses. You’ll burn out the motor if you think you can just run a blender (this one or any other) until the work is complete for several minutes. Be patient and do short pulses with cool down breaks as the directions tell you to do.

I needed to get a food processor to make raw food for my fur babies. Based on the review and the Design of this product I went ahead and wanted to give it a try.Today I used it for the first time to grind up raw chicken necks and this machine did an awesome job at first i filled up the cup way too full and I felt the motor was over working I started to smell burn so I emptied out half of the cup and then it worked gray I still have to hold it down hard since there were chicken bones the machine is grinding so it was jumping around if I didn’t hold it down good enough.I only gave 4 stars because the only drawback is the cleaning. The part that was hard to clean was the bottom of the motor where it attaches to the blade stick, the raw meat got inside and since you can’t wash this motor part I had to clean it by the brush and it took some time, this was not a convenient design.Not sure how this processor will fair over time since I have only used it once, but I will update this review if any issues comes up later.

I'm a senior citizen and have gone most of my life with old, cheap food processors that I have avoided using any more than necessary. This one is so easy, so efficient, and so versatile that I use every couple of days. Beyond the obvious things like cole slaw, I'm making things that used to seem like too much work--potato pancakes, margaritas, avocado toast, smoothies, etc., as well a making a lot of other items easier. (For example, I like to add carrots and other veggies to meat loaf, and it's easy to just grind them up along with onions and garlic--all of which disappear visually when you have kids who would object to these items if they were more visible.) This is probably old hat for people who have always used the best food processors, but this seems to me as perfect as a food processor can be, and yet it's quite affordable.

A little over five months after purchasing this unit, the pitcher sprouted a serious leak. The warranty only covers the motor (for a year) and so I had to purchase a new pitcher from Ninja for over $31 (incl. shipping and tax). I asked the representative what could have gone wrong, as I had been careful with it but did use small amounts (4 cubes or so) of ice for smoothies. She said only use "fresh ice"--that is ice that had only been frozen a few hours, such as an ice cube tray placed in the refrigerator the night before. Never read that in the instructions! Includes some planning for the day ahead, something I'm not always good at!I have really liked the design of this appliance but the added expense is definitely bad for someone on a budget! Perhaps better to have spent more on a blender/food processor and maybe in the long run have saved money.

I have only owned this a short time, so I can't speak to it's longevity, but it seems well made and I love it! I've never owned a top-down blender, so I was unsure at first, but after using it I think it's great. Really powerful, works as a blender or food processor, easily deals with anything you throw at it. Comes with multiple SHARP blending blades.UPDATE: In less than a year, the pitcher cracked across the bottom. Never used it with ice or anything hard. Today, at a year and a half, the water I put in seeped out through the bottom in less than a minute. Too bad--I loved it, but this seems to happen a lot.
