Easy to use and reusable 3-4 times
This is a great alternative to thimbles. I am still trying to find that perfect thimble for myself but in the meantime this is a life saver. I hand sew quilt sleeves onto antique quilt backings for museum hangings and I stitch about 1400 stitches per sleeve so this is a must have!

Game changing thimble type!
Y'all. When I say GAME CHANGER, I mean the bulkiness of a thimble is gone, and you have full feeling/control EXCEPT for the pain of where finger meets needle. Why did I wait so long to try something like this? There are other versions of this type of thimble that I have already decided to try and settle on one that is the best for me.I am currently hand-stitching a quilt, and I just can't really see me going back to a full finger type thimble after using this.

This was a great find
This was a great find. I don’t do a lot of hand sewing but when I do I need protection for my finger. I have tried several different types of thimbles without success. I have fat fingers and can never get a thimble to sit on my finger correctly. This product solved that problem. Stayed where I put it, didn’t slide around. It was easy to take off my finger so I can reuse. The product was as advertised and just the right thickness to protect my finger and not add bulk that could throw off my stitches.

Embroidery
I love to embroidery and so does my mom. We don’t like thimbles to much so this is a nice alternative. I think they are a bit expensive for one time use and I feel like there should be packs of 100. They do protect to a point but they aren’t a thimble, I clean my finger with an alcohol prep to help with the stickiness and they are simple to apply. You might waste a few finding your sweet spot when you start using them. Size is fine and fits on the pad of your finger. Once you get use to them they are comfortable and a decent protective device for sewing. I wish they came in a small plastic case to keep them from bending as mine were folded over upon receiving and I don’t like that. Thickness is fine but a needle that is very sharp will go through them. Once you start using them you will have to have them.. trust me! My mom gives them 5 stars all day long!! She is a very advanced seamstress and she is old school- still hand sews her binding on all her quilts and she loves these!!

Love love love!
I absolutely love these. They are fully reusable, I'm still using the first one i started with. They're lightweight and work well at saving your finger. I hate traditional thimbles because they're so clunky to me and i could never get the hang of stitching with one. Like the description says, you forget these are there.

Sticky in long sewing sessions
These work great to prevent pain from using the needle, but after awhile the glue gets gummy which results in two things: the pads start to slip around, and the thread starts to stick to it and that causes the needle to become unthreaded.

Absolutely Wonderful
I absolutely love these! I have never found a thimble that works for me until I found these! I can place the pad exactly where I need it, no slipping, no interference with scissors, no falling off, etc. I was not expecting the “stick” to last that long but I can use one pad for a very long time before switching to a new one. I am very grateful for this product☺️
