Great Idea
This is a great idea and design. They throw a lot of snow and ice chips right where you need it. They actually dampen the sound in the tunnel with all the snow. I have a Yamaha 2006 RS Venture with the 144 inch x15 inch x 1.5 inch track with 23,700 miles. I can't remember the last time I changed my slides. At times I used to smell the slides on hard pack virgin groomed trails. This product allows me to get out early and enjoy the flat trails without sacrificing my slides or worrying about overheating. They are easy to install and mine hang right up on the rails when not in use. On my Venture there is no part of the rail that is two inched above the track so I had to set them on a slight angle instead of straight down as the manufacture recommends. They still work great and next year I will make a riser for the mount. Make sure you keep them up when crossing gravel or dirt roads as I'm sure they will work equally well throwing that into your track

Cools my 2016 Polaris pro s 600 down form 160-170 to 125
Overall I have used these scratchers for around 350 miles on my sled and they work great. It was -20 degrees outside and the trail was just freshly groomed you can imagine how hard packed the trail was. I purposely ran my sled with the scratchers up to see how hot my sled would get. Got up to 160 range and hovered around there. Dropped the scratchers and within 5 min of riding dropped my temp to 126 and it stayed there the rest of my 50 mile ride. Only dislike is when you store these things up they seem to dig into your skid rail and leave nice chips in them. Looking to upgrade to the boogie wheel mount option so I can store them out of the way when not in use where they will not damage my skid rails.

Great product very long life
I have these on all my snowmobiles. The first set bought back in 2012 and still going strong. Never had a problem with any of them. They kick up snow even on the extremely hard packed days. I would recommend these to all. Hope this helps.

Good so far
I’ve had these on my sled for a month or so and so far so good, do a great job on the hard pack trails keeping my rails lubed with snow. Price is a little high but if they last it’ll be worth it. Easy to install, quality if very good so far.

Very good product. Received promptly in good condition
Very good product. Received promptly in good condition. This will be my 3rd set. On my first set, the cable pulled out. On the second set, the entire assembly came off. The product is very good. Sled runs about 10 degrees cooler compared to stock scratchers. I think that periodically the bolts need to be checked & tightened though. I tend to Boon Dock a lot and generally leave them down when bouncing from trail to the hills. I will definitely be using some LocTight on this next set. Carbide tips can be replaced when needed without having to purchase a new set of scratchers.

15 Degrees Cooler!
Worth the $$! Should have added them when I bought the sled new! Have them on two 137 Skidoo Renegade’s. I mounted just below the suspension rod in the highest available hole (did have to drill larger). I usually ran 109 degrees and when on the hardpack I stopped, deployed the scratchers and immediately was at 94 degrees!Image is when they are in the stored position for roads and trailering. Make sure to leave them deployed when storing so they don’t memorize the bend making them less effective.
