So far so good
I fried a similar controller from another mfg (Inkbird). My fault...I tried to drive 15 amps with it...it was rated for 12. This WILLHI only displays one temp, the current temp. However it handles 15 amps no problem.Update after use: I'm using this to control a refrigerator-size wood kiln heated by infrared lamps. This unit is a little less intuitive to program than the Inkbird it replaced. However I was able to program the WILLHI using the instructions, setting the target temp range, low and high. The unit worked perfectly over a 48-hour cook. The display is bright and easy to read. Nice unit, hope it lasts a long time.

Easy to use
I used it on a freezer to hold 38 degrees to salt cure meat, control temp on heat lamps for animals in the winter. It came calibrated but it’s easy to calibrate if you need to. I have used 2 for over a year now and will be ordering this brand again.

Could not even handle a 1200 watt resistance electric radiator style heater, junk
Used this this on a 1200 watt resistance radiator style heater and it over heated and stopped working, junk. What I suspect is they use a very cheap relay to turn on and off the load and it simply cant handle the load advertised. It absolutely cannot handle just 1200 watts. NO way could it handle the advertised 1650 watts! I even had the heater on the 800 watt setting and I could feel the damn thermostat getting hot. Do not buy unless your load is I don't know under 500 watts? kind of worthless at that rating.

Not ideal for BBQ's
This unit works well, but has a max temp of 230 F which is my sweet spot for smoking BBQ. I have to pull the RTD sensor partially out of the smoke box to keep it from alarming out. Then I set the limits of the controller (215F on and 222 F off) to maintain 230-240F in the smoke box. Not ideal, but it works. I've used it twice now and both times the cooking temps were more consistent than with the old analog controller.

Pay attention to the max wattage of this product vs what you plan to run with it.
Used this temperature controller to replace the power supply of my infrared sauna. I wasn’t sure how it’d work out but am glad to say it does the job well. Setting it up isn’t 100% intuitive but I figure it out after reading the instructions a few times. You have to set high and low limits and that process is a tad confusing, less than straightforward but for the price it was worth the effort.

I would not hesitate to purchase this again.
My job is to build and maintain scientific research equipment for a university department. In this case I was asked to rebuild an old incubator. This unit was originally equipped, and rebuilt more than once, with analogue thermostats and timers. The WILLHI WH-1803A Digital Temperature Controller was purchased to replace this equipment and it was very easy to install. I would not hesitate to purchase one again. These are simple units to operate. You drop the temperature probe (thermistor) into whatever medium you wish to monitor. This could be the air of an incubator, oven or grill, the temperature of wart as it ferments into beer, whatever. You choose the set points that you want the temperature to neither rise neither above nor below. The WILLHI then provides electricity to an attached outlet (think one plug power strip). This unit then powers whatever heating element you choose to use.Improvements? None of these are deal breakers and would only serve to take this product to the next level of professionalism. #1. As with most overseas electronics, an english speaking technical writer is clearly not on the payroll and would be a welcomed addition to their included written instructions. That said, it's a very simple unit and you can work through them. #2 Having the option of different temperature probes would be delightful. Perhaps an inline connector to swap in other probes that would work in higher temp environments? If you damage the probe there is currently no easy way to repair it. The entire unit then needs replacement.

Fantastic
great product. If using for window 110 Volt air conditioner, this will keep your temperature much more even. Working great... will probably save save money too. Quality product. I'm gonna buy another one.

Temperature part was great. The plug in front. Maybe not so great
I'm giving this 3 stars. I believe the thermostat worked as far as determining the temperature. However. When I set it. Then plugged the heater in. The heater wouldn't come on when it was at the right temperature. Which could have meant they weren't compatable, however I needed something in a hurry as I was going out of town and it was to freeze. So I had to figure something else out. So I'm not saying this did not work as expected. Since I'm not real sure why it did not work. It just did not work for me
