Feels like a substantial piece. I doubt you could break this without trying., the Only reason I gave 4 stars for durability is it's new.

This shoe horn is easy to use and is made of heavier grade steel than others I have. I purchased two others before this purchase. The other products have bent and are useless. This product is great. I will order another shortly. If you need a long shoe horn, buy this one. You will be glad you did.

I had hip replacement surgery, and I used this before the surgery, during recovery, and am still using it three months after the surgery. I like the length, and the business end is narrow enough to fit in my shoes. It seems very sturdy. My husband had convinced me to buy a different shoehorn, which was more like a traditional shoe horn, but it was too wide at the bottom and was also not quite long enough. I highly recommend this product.

Needed this for getting my slip on shoes on after double knee replacement. It works very well for this.

This would be great except it comes apart. The metal comes out of the handle.
