Delicious!
These are perfect for making dark chocolate covered oranges; holiday candy without any guilt and quite wholesome for you. All you have to is get dark chocolate chips, a tiny bit of orange oil, and a bit of butter if you need it to keep the chocolate from seizing up on from melting the chips.I stirred the oranges into the melted chocolate mixture, then laid them out one by one onto parchment paper. Put them in the fridge for about a half hour or so to cool. Then, store them in plastic bags in the fridge for like up to two or three weeks to keep the chocolate from melting again. Bring them out of the fridge for 10 minutes or so before serving them.I love that I didn’t have to use fresh oranges to do this, as they would surely spoil much quicker. This is also cost-effective and healthier to do around the holidays than buying premade chocolate oranges. The chocolate sticks to these wonderfully.

Absolutely Love Them! I re-order every few weeks!
I discovered dried orange wedges at Trader Joe's, fell in love with the taste, was horrified at the price, and spent several months trying to find a reasonable amount, reasonably priced, that were very tasty. These are it. I have a half-dozen cylindrical glass containers on a lazy susan in my kitchen that are all filled with different dried fruits, and this one empties the quickest. One the whole, they are plump, juicy, naturally sweet & a bit tart, and keep beautifully (my containers are air-tight but are opened often). Every so often I'll get a flattened wedge, but overall these are the best quality available in this amount and you can't beat the price. I order them every couple of weeks now, and my only complaint is that prime shipping often takes longer than two days and I hate waiting for them to get here!

LOTS & LOTS OF SUGAR!
Value for $ is good. Just expect a huge bag of candy, not necessarily mandarin oranges! It’s or they’re Really, Really Sweet! Lots of added Sugar, sadly! All slices come loose in a big oil’ bag, I’m gonna need to pack into smaller baggies. These Aren’t FREEZE DRIED! Imagine that they’re 1st Soaked or Rolled in Sugar, then kinda dried out.I don’t know what I was expecting, but it honestly wasn’t this! Would I reorder? Yes if I had a really bad Jones for orange flavored sugar or sugar flavored orange (halfway dried out) slices.

70% sugar, but taste good
About 17 ounces of sugar per 24 ounce bag, so if you get a sugar rush/crash this will do it.If you reconstitute some pieces in water you get a sweet tangeriney water, but you also notice that some of the reconstituted pieces are black and look questionable. So it's probably from a country that has not mastered the use of chemical dyes to hide doubtful products. If these were from the U.S. they would be a uniform artificial orange color.Good product and price, not sure if I would order again because fresh tangerines and mandarins are inexpensive and healthier.

Better than candy.
My weight loss plan has been working for more than a year, just your basic calories in/calories out, with exercise being very important, but resisting sweets is still a challenge. These dried mandarins do contain sugar, but at only 120 calories for 17 pieces, these are a better bet than cake, better than cookies, better than candy, and the taste is mouth watering. A little handful is a satisfying snack any time, and they're great chopped up in yogurt or combined with almonds for a pick-me-up. I expect I'll order these over and over again, as long as they're around.

Awful consistency, awful product
These were awful now I understand why the price was reasonable. I’ve never tried them before, so maybe compared to others they’re good but. I do eat a lot of dried fruit and these were still wet inside which was a horrible combination. They don’t taste like normal dried fruit like raisins or or cranberries in the texture, it’s more like really really dried out oranges that taste like dry membrane and some wetness on the Inside. These are terrible.

these are way too chewy
Not sure what I expected but it wasn't what I got. The flavor is fine but very sugary. The membrane covering the individual pieces is so chewy, kind of like chewing on a tough jerkey. Won't be buying these again. Trying to figure out how to maybe bake with them - how much membrane I can get off without ending up with nothing.

Delicious!
I stumbled across these while browsing for some dried fruit. I honestly had never heard of dried mandarin oranges before, but being a fan of dried fruits, and liking mandarin oranges I figured I would give them a try and I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a very true mandarin orange taste to them-only sweeter, and they are not leather-like as some dried fruits can be. They are actually quite good and a real treat. You also get a lot-the bag is bigger than I expected.
