M-LOK Aluminum Picatinny Accessory Rail

This Magpul rail adapter is rock-solid once installed. The machining is precise with clean edges and perfect M-LOK alignment - no wobble or play when properly mounted. The aluminum construction feels substantial without adding unnecessary weight, and the anodized finish has proven durable against wear. Installation is straightforward if you follow the included torque specs. The T-nuts engage positively with a satisfying click, and the anti-rotation tabs keep everything exactly where it should be. The rail slots are properly sized to MIL-STD-1913 specifications, so accessories mount without any fitment issues. Important installation tip: clean the mounting surface thoroughly and use a torque wrench to avoid over-tightening. The included hardware is high quality, but you'll want to use a tiny bit of blue Loctite if you're planning heavy use. One note: while compact, double-check the length you need for your specific application - the rail section might be longer than necessary for some setups. It looks like Amazon ran my package over half a dozen times before chucking it onto my porch. Thankfully, Magpul makes good stuff, so the rail is only slightly scuffed. The rail isnt bent at all despite the significant force put on it. Disappointed (as usual) with Amazon, quite happy with this product.

I have the 3, 5, and 7 slot versions of this. The 3 slot takes up a single mlok slot, and is just the right size for a QD, as pictured. The 5 slot is very awkward with its screw spacing if you have to deal with a low profile gas block, like in the case of a bipod attachment. It needs 1 and a half mlok slots. The 7 slot is long enough that it can straddle a gas block without interference, pictured. They get expensive if you need multiple, but it’s Magpul so you know the quality will be, at a minimum, acceptable.

Works well, glad I got the aluminum version. No complaints.

MAGPIL Makes excellent products all around, I have never been disappointed in any Magpul products, and these aluminum rails are no different, they have the polymer and aluminum rails and for most things the polymer ones work great, but for other things the aluminum rails are light and work terrific, reasonable price point. they fit perfect, the bolts are a little bigger (and come with threadlock) than most that hold the Mlok or keymod nuts. for a more solid and durable hold.

When I began looking at ways to mount a light to my Midwest Industries M-Lok handguard found on my built, AR-15 I saw my choices were very limited. Although the patent for the M-Lok system is open to all companies, the aftermarket industry has yet to catch up. After researching I found the most common and largely readily available M-Lok rail sections were from Magpul Industries. I own multiple Magpul products and they have all proven to be built to spec and work as they should. I also find most of their products to be finished well with no harsh edges or discoloration like you may find in other off brand products. The three slot M-Lok rail section found here is no exception. When buying a rail section I wanted a rail that was not only durable, but was also easy to remove and replace. I additionally wanted a rail that would keep its black finish and hardware that would hold up without being stripped. Not only did I receive the rail quickly but it also arrived in a well-padded envelop. The rail section itself was packaged in Magpul’s standard cardboard/baggie packaging and contained all the information needed to install. The rail section also came with the required Allen headed bolts and cammed T-nuts. I was somewhat skeptical when first installing the bolts because they had a large amount of powdered Loctite on them but they threaded well. Both the rail and the bolts are made of top notch material. Often times when purchasing a rail section you find the hardware is less than effective. This was not the case with the Magpul rail. I choose the aluminum version rather than the provided plastic M-Lok rail because I was planning on mounting a light with a 45 degree up rise. This setup can be somewhat abusive to the plastic rails because it is towards the end of the muzzle and can be bumped around from time to time causing them to crack. After months of hard use the rail still holds tight to the handguard and the finish shows few scratches for the abuse given. Given the testing I have done I would recommend this rail to anyone wanting to mount accessories to their M-Lok handguards, especially those who tend to abuse their gear more than the average shooter such as; military, law enforcement, or competition shooters.

Well Worth the Money!!! Easy to Install! Top Quality Materials! My equipment worked perfected on them with them!! I bought a few cheaper brands and returned them all.
