ALEX Toys Artist Studio Scra-ffiti So Fun Scratch Pad Coloring and Sketch Book

I purchased this scraffiti book as a Christmas gift for my 7-year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it! She has spent several hours working on three or four of the pages so far and has been proud of her results. The wooden scraffiti tool is easy to use (even her 2-year old cousin got in on the action), and it appears to be very durable for long-term use. The pages are thick, and the spiral binding allows the pages to lay flat while working, which makes this a very versatile book. She's even taken it with her to occupy time in the car! There is a plastic compartment attached to the front of the book to house the wooden scraffiti tool so everything stays together. The pre-printed pages give her guidance, but the final designs are ultimately her own, which really encourages her creativity. This is a great alternative to a traditional coloring book, and we both love it!

Granddaughters loved doing. They are from 3-11 and all enjoyed so I really didn’t worry as much about ages on box.

7yo likes this but when she finished a couple pages, the scratched off black material was all over the place and she looked like she’d been working in a coal mine. She didn’t mind. I did. Better for outside, not for road trips.

Great at keeping kids busy and teaching them to stay in the lines. Only word of caution is that the scratched off stuff gets everywhere. Also my daughter's hands turns black if she colors with it for too long. Overall though I would purchase again.

I bought this for my kids, they like it but I have really taken to it. It's very relaxing, and gets me off my phone.
