Physical Geology: Exploring the Earth, 6th Edition 6th Edition

First of all, the book was in excellent condition! I am impressed with the additional info added in between chapters. Geology is not my major, but I've found a new interest in our earth and what makes it what it is. The book breaks down the info in terms I can comprehend. Sometimes I've had to reread what I'm focusing on for class, but I had to do this for junior college books as well. The glossary and index have been very helpful; teh clear print and pictures are a plus! P.S. I will never look at the oceans or think of a running stream, or earthquake the same again. Smile

Overall I was very pleased with this purchase! Although used the book arrived in great condition despite being a softcover textbook. The language is appropriate for high school/college students who do not have a background in geology. The text is easy to read and the book features many pictures and figures that compliment the text well. Great for anyone who would just like to start learning about geology and the amazing processes that form and shape our earth. This was the text required for my college level introductory geology class and I purchased the book at a very reasonable price (50% of what my university bookstore rented it for!). Definitely recommend purchasing this book from amazon if you need it for a class!

The book itself is a little worn. The spine is old but no pages are falling out. It's definitely been used quite a bit and still has the USED sticker label on the outside. Some highlighting in it but you get what you pay for and it will serve it's purpose just fine.

I love the quality

Its really interesting! Its fascinating to see all of the different things that are combined to make certain rocks! Interesting!

Received the book and the front cover is damaged. The spine is ripped at the bottom and the cover has some sort of liquid spill on it. Several pages are ripped. There were a handful of flags in the book which weren’t a big deal but could have been removed before sold. There was a Scrantron inside the middle of the book and some shredded paper.

Book exactly what I expected arrived on time too.
