Medical Lightweight Adjustable Designer Canes with Offset Handles

Love this cane. I had total hip replacement and wanted a cane with personality since I am under 50 yrs old. Purple is my favorite color and Hawaiian flowers were perfect. Sturdy cane. Adjustable height. Lightweight. The grip is cushiony.enough to be comfortable. I was switching from a walker and my hands hurt from the walker grips. The grip on the cane cushioned that. I am heavy and not once have I felt like it would not support me. The price sweetened the deal. I may be buying a back up for my car or office and if I do it will be from here.

I almost didn't buy this cane because in reading the reviews several people had trouble adjusting the height of the cane with the push button sticking. Not so! Either they improved that feature or those who had trouble were applying the wrong pressure. It was quite easy to adjust, straight forward. It is lightweight as advertised and good looking to boot. I wasn't too happy to have reached a point in my life where a cane was necessary for me to walk comfortably. That was a big adjustment. But to have a cane that I'm happy using changes that negative thinking dramatically. If you're considering purchasing a walking cane, consider NOVA Designer Cane and it's affordable!

I needed a cane while recovering from lung cancer surgery, but did not want anything "old lady". It was hard to tell from the photos, but after looking at every decorative cane on Amazon, I decided on this one. I'm so glad I did! Not only is the cane of great quality, with easy height adjustability (I'm 5'9" and there is a setting that works great for me in the middle of the 12 total height settings, so this would most definitely work for any height), it's just gorgeous! The colors are vibrant but not obnoxious, the flowers have an artsy, soft ombre and almost airbrushed effect. It is a very fun and younger-feeling design for a cane. People are often commenting on how pretty it is and asking where I got it, so they can get one for somebody they know who uses a plain cane. If you have to use a cane, or know someone who does, why settle for ordinary and depressing? Go for the beautiful, tropical style that will bring a smile and remind one that a cane can also be an expression of your artistic and creative self. :) <3 xoxo

I love this cane and wish I would have started using one years ago. Pride finally gave way to need. its super light-weight. I love the flowers. Its easy for most to adjust. I have a hard time pushing the button in due to arthritis so I had to use a spoon to push the button is as otherwise Im not able. My son could do it easier. unscrew before trying to pull or push to adjust height and do not forget to rescrew after getting the button popped in to where you want it to be. yes it will hold if you forget. I know because I forgot. But then the part that screws will fall down after a time. If you forget and it falls it goes right back up and screws right back in place. I used this cane for awhile and then decided to get a second one so I can just keep one in the car and one in the house as its just a few steps from my car to my door.

I bought this for my mom to replace a cane she left somewhere. She likes it better than the old one, and says it feels more stable and comfortable, style-wise. The star off is because the first one I was sent... upon adjusting for her height, the button was EXTREMELY hard to push in, so I used a tool to do it, and it snapped off inside, the button vanished into the cane, and it could no longer be adjusted at all. This was the first time it was adjusted, unused, never had pressure exerted on it in any way. That's a pretty serious quality control issue. Another problem we had was the incredible difficulty of getting the rubber base off to put a new, separately purchased, tip on. When I ordered this, I wasn't sure if a quad tip was necessary, so I ordered them separately, so I could compare. Wow... I looked up every single direction online for how to get the existing rubber tip off, and tried them all (hair dryer, bobby pin to break the seal, a dental pick to break the seal). Nope.... I know some people have managed it, and I know it's possible. But it is IMPOSSIBLE for a normal woman to do it, not just my mom who can't open jars easily, but me, who can open most jars and have no trouble assembling anything big or small with directions. I did not take a star off for this, because the issue has nothing to do with the value or quality of the cane itself... but beware. If you think you may need a self-standing tip, you do not want to buy this cane, or be prepared to destroy the existing tip. We'll hang on to the new tip and maybe when the existing rubber tip begins to deteriorate, or she wants the ability to stand up (as pictured) we'll just cut it off with a circular saw. Those are the negatives. The positives are: it IS lightweight, well balanced, comfortable for the hand. The height adjustments are easy to use, the 'sticker' is easy to remove. I like the strap a LOT. TIP: put a small key-chain tag for the strap, with your phone #... maybe if you forget it, as my mom does everywhere, a kind stranger will call and return it to you. It deserves the 4 stars, but not happy with the inconvenience of having to send it back for a replacement. I hope that mine was the one in a thousand bad experience, because the 2nd one is definitely great!

This is a nice sturdy cane, with a comfortable handle. It adjusted perfectly to my 5'2" height, and doesn't make any noise when I'm walking. I have an old beat up cane shaped like this, a year old, that has several bolts in it and duct tape to keep it at the right height and quiet. I use the old one for walking around the dirt roads of our subdivision. I use this wonderful new one as my "Sunday go to meeting" cane. I took it on a 3 week tour to China where we walked about 3 miles a day, and lots of uneven steps. It was perfect and kept me on my feet. My only quibble is that I wear out the rubber tip really fast and have to replace them fairly often. Amazon price beats all the other places I looked, plus PRIME shipping. I got the colorful purple and pink flowers.

It is very pretty and is sturdy. I bought it as a Christmas present for my elderly Mom who is going to a wedding in the Dominican in January. This cane will be a nice accent for her dress.
