Kopykake Coloring Pens, Set of 10

Love it! I've used the color pens from AmeriColor and while they work great, they don't offer the ability to draw fine lines. The tips are not sturdy enough. I almost have to use them as if I was painting with a fine tip paintbrush, but these KopyKake pens are truly pens! You can draw on rice paper, fondant, or on royal icing cookies with no problem. Highly recommended!

I do a great deal of gourmet cookie decorating for my home business. I purchased these markers because they have the double sided marker to allow for fine printing and for larger area coloring.When I received them, the expiration date was less than a month away from the date I purchased them. I expected to use them for many months so this was not acceptable to me. I contacted the seller and they replaced them with out any problem so I have no beef with the seller at all. Just wrote this to let you know to check the date when you purchase your set.Over all I am pleased with these markers but the purple is a bit off in my opinion. It is more of a blue than purple.The markers have held up to regular use and only one (black) has gotten a bit dry on me. But to be fair, it is probably the most used marker in the set.I recommend these markers. Just check the date.

Well I at first complained they dried out. I wrote the company and they made me realize it was user error on my part! Leave them in a ziplock bag or they will dry out as they have air vents! My other pens do not have them!

I got a product with only 3 months till the expiry date. The yellow and pink are both dried out and this product is not eligible for a return, what am I supposed to do with dried pens?The black on this is more grey than black. In the image you can see a different edible pen comparison to this one and it’s definitely much much lighter. Disappointed.

Vibrant colors, and very versatile with dual tips. Durable too--they have not dried out yet and we bought several holidays back (lots of cookies have been decorated since).

Most of the pens were dried out and were unusable. Itried them on cookies iced with royal icing and on plain uniced cookies. only 3 of the pens worked and those were not great. I would not recommend these. And I did check the expiration date it was for July 2014

I like the bright colors that come with this set and with the dual ends, the fine tip is a true fine tip that works great for thin lines.However, if you are using this to draw a guide directly onto the cookie, you have to match the marker to the royal icing color. All colors will bleed through white icing. Another problem is that the black is not black. It will appear black if written on a darker colored icing but if written on white, the black is actually a blueish color (reminds me of how an old faded sailors tattoo would turn blue/green).

Love the two ends- fine and medium tips. Now, I no longer have to try to make do with the wrong size. Like the color selection and like that they make my job easier.
