This is a time honored beauty and skin treatment sworn by previous generations that regardless of skin type found this type of lotion the best in terms of effectiveness for dry or irritated skin due to sun or exposure as well general skin care to improve texture and any dryness. It absorbs very well and can be used on face and body. My mother and grandmother swore by coconut oil products and were from very cold parts of our northeast where skin could get seriously dry and chapped but they slathered this lotion on and it kept their skin healthy and protected. They did not have lots of choices then but this standby reportedly served them faithfully. I have found it very effective as well to moisturize almost everywhere on my body and face. The tub holds a very good amount and lasts a long time. Very good product and excellent value for money.
