Update: a representative from Emily Rose contacted us shortly after they had read my review apologizing for the dye and have assured me they quality control their peices and have removed all headbands from the lot (even those non-defective). They even offered to replace our doll. Being that I was satisfied with you now clean doll I settled for the offer of a new outfit as compensation. Based on this interaction and the usual quality and standards of Emily Rose products, I’m updating this review to 4 stars.—I’ll start by saying we have several different outfits from Emily Rose for the 14” Wellie Wisher dolls and love them. The clothing is wonderfully made and high-quality. Which is why we were so disappointed when my daughter put the headband that came with this outfit on her doll only to find the black feather dye came off on our fingers and the dolls face. We immediately threw out the headband. Which is such a shame since that was my daughters favorite part. After trying soap and even Windex I had to use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to finally get it most of the day off the dolls face.

I can not find my original review. I had originally given a low star review bc some of the pieces fell a part. However representative reached out to me and replaced the head band and tap shoes. It has been a few days and everything is perfect! My daughter loves this doll outfit, it really is super cute!

I purchased this for my granddaughter. She has a Wellie Wishers doll and it for perfectly. However, one layer of the skirt pulled from the waistband. I was going to reattach it, but decided to just cut the part that had pulled out off. It's not noticeable unless you really scrutinize it. Still I thought that is should have been better constructed for the price. But then again, I'm a seamstress.

DO NOT USE THE HEADDBAND!!!!!! I purchased this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas to go with the Wellie Wishers doll she was also getting. The feather from the headband permanently stained the doll!!! I have been scrubbing with multiple products to try to remove the black to no avail. We at first tried to discover where the black came from and when I rubbed the headband on my hand it left black all over. I am incredibly upset that her brand new Doll is ruined 😡

So, this looks cute. It is part of a Christmas gift for one of my nieces. A couple comments here said the headband was bleeding onto the doll and making black marks on it. One comment said Emily Rose advised her the headbands were removed from the product. Mine came with a headband, which I have taken out of the box. Do not want to take any chances that it will mark a $60 doll.

I was very impressed by the ensemble which does include 'real' tap shoes...teensy ones! My granddaughter hasn't opened this present yet, so her Wellie Wisher doll hasn't tried on the outfit. BUT I know she'll love it, since she is a dancer and taps, too!

Very cute but the shoe strap broke when I was trying to put it on the doll and the skirt won’t stop flying up. My daughter loves it though. I do feel like it was a little over priced but I don’t regret buying it at all.

This was a gift for a little girl who just started tap classes and she loved the doll especially the tap shoes.
