This product is gentle and reliable, but I don't care for the artificial colors they put into it. What's the point? Artificial colors are known carcinogens and not allowed in many countries. We don't need artificial color in pills or herbal supplements.

I recently was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and discovered that severe constipation can be a symptom - very uncomfortable. My doctor said try Senna, in combination with Metamucil or Benefiber, and this brand is working very nicely, two tablets at bedtime. I’ve been doing this for about a month (I’ve tried both Metamucil and Benefiber and they are equivalent except Metamucil is orange flavored if you like that) and, fingers crossed, the constipation is gone!

I bought this on a friend's recommendation when I was going to have surgery. I know I would be needing heavy duty pain killers, which can cause everything to stop up. Two tablets at night, and again the second night. The following day, I was back to nearly normal. It's fairly easy on the system.
