This is a wonderful muddler. It is very large....very large. Your knuckles will be safe from smacking the side of your tins or mixing glasses. The biggest feature for me is the flat muddling end. For me, having a flat end on my muddler is critical so as to not tear and pulverize mint and other more delicate ingredients. I never use muddlers with teeth or other raised parts on the end. This thing might even work well for cracking or even crushing ice. I think this will be the last muddler I have to buy.

This is exactly what I wanted to use to make mint julip cocktails. Solid wood,12-inch - perfect for muddling. Better than advertised. This would make a great gift. Even the box is quality. Worth every penny.

Great muddler. Used it as soon as I received it. I use a tall shaker and this gives ample room for my hand. The girth is great as well in providing better grip and ability to muddle. I made a mistake buying it though. I did it at 3:00am and made the assumption it was with teeth at the bottom. I muddle mostly fruit and that would be a great feature to add for another model. If you come to market with that feature I will be the first to buy it!!! Make the teeth agressive though! Your competition does not make them sharp enough to pierce the fruit rind.

This was a great replacement for my old wooden muddler. I was a little concerned about the size at first, but this bar tool is actually easier to use. The design (flat bottom) works very well, and the material seems impervious. Easy to clean, no absorption of flavors (or nasties). If you like to muddle, treat yourself to this great tool.

Great muddler, not flimsy, long enough to keep your knuckles from smacking the rim of a highball glass. Easy to clean. If it could be improved in one way, it would be to clean up the mold line that runs the length of the muddler- but that's just being nit picky. They clean up easily with a razor blade.

I was looking for an extra long wooden muddler for when I'm making Sauerkraut and Kimchi. I was specifically looking for a muddler that was long enough to manage the height of a gigantic 3L jar and this is perfect!

My little one works fine for mint but when making shashes or anything with ginger I go for the big boy.
