Great for Koren dishes. Adds great flavor to broths. Container is sealed nicely when it arrives and refrigerated after opening.

Less salty than other brands but still good flavor, prefer this one more.

I’ve tried several brands of Korean doenjang, and CJ Haechandle is my fave and cheap. The flavor is rich, savory, and authentic, with a perfect balance of fermented depth and saltiness. It dissolves well in soups and stews, and it adds a delicious umami punch to sauces and marinades. The texture is smooth, and the packaging keeps it fresh. I have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to anyone. I made an amazing low calorie soup with it and can't wait to use it in other recipes. The product itself deserves all 5 stars. The only issue I had with it isn't their fault, it's on Amazon. That's why I didn't take any stars off. The lid was missing when it arrived. There was still a seal, so the product was safe. I keep it inside a zip lock bag now that I've opened it, but I wish I just had the lid to cover it like I was supposed to.

Having a restricted diet due to IBS that means you can't use many flavorful items like garlic, hot sauce, onions, etc. This soybean product delivers on flavor whether I'm adding it to soup and stews made with poultry. As a fermented product, it has a sour taste, but one that I don't find overpowering. I recently tried it on buckwheat toast with melted cheddar cheese and it was delicious. I love this product so much that I get a couple of them every month. The added benefit they have is as a fermented product they have probiotics that help your gut health.

Está riquísima, hice un caldo con salmón y elevó el sabor a umami. Muy recomendable. Lo único malo es que la tapa se dañó en el envío, no fue grave, pero se podría evitar con una mejor envoltura, con plástico burbuja. El servicio en tiempo y forma
