We Really Like Our iTeknic Water Flosser
My wife and I have used the Waterpik brand water flosser for years, but when the last one wore out, we did some research on Amazon reviews and thought this was one of the best. We decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did. It is affordable and streamlined so it doesn't take up too much space, but has the power of the Waterpik. It has 10 pulse settings, but you should be careful to start on a low setting and then change the setting as you use it to one that will do the job, but still be comfortable. We have found that one can use a more powerful setting over time as the gums get healthier and more used to the flosser. It has an On/Off switch on the wand so you can get it into your mouth before turning it on. We really like having the closed storage area in the lid so we can keep the heads we use right with the flosser. The removeable water container holds 600ml (that's 2 1/2 cups water), plenty to do a good job. Hold the flossing tip at a 45 degree angle to your gums and floss each tooth, front and back. It also comes with an Instruction Manual. We really like it!

Where has this been all my life?
Growing up, dental care was never a priority in my family. I didn't start going to the dentist until my early 20's. Flossing is my least favorite thing about it. I used to have those one time use floss plastic thingies and those are great, but sometimes it would just get stuck between my teeth and I'd have to yank it out, all while my gums were bleeding. I wish I had known about these waterpik type products! They always seemed financially unatainable for me when I was younger, but now there are some good products out there! This one seems to be one of them!***1/15/2021***First time using it was last night. Packaging was nice and attractive. Opening it was fuss free. I really like how the cover to the water tank also doubles as storage for the various water tips. Very practical! It also had little suction cup feet on the bottom so it would stay on the counter while using. Love how there is a pause button on the wand itself, you will probably need it for the first dozen times or so while you figure out the best way to not spray water all over.As for the water pressure, there is a dial that you use to turn it up or down. I hardly had to turn the dial to find a suitable water pressure for myself. I have only used the standard tip and the tongue cleaning one so far, and it was easy and comfortable to do so. It's much easier to use this tongue cleaning attachment vs a standard tongue cleaner. The water washes away all the gross gunk that you'd normally see if you were using a regular tongue cleaner. The water tank is the perfect size to use in one round without having to refill.***I will update my review further down the line, but so far, so good!***

It's great!
I'm kinda mad. This is my first water flosser and now I'm stuck getting another for when I travel anywhere. I'm debating on getting another one of these or one of the handheld smaller ones. If this brand has a small one I might get it.Anyway, I've fallen in love with it. My fav head is the one with the brush, really helps me tell where it's facing. It's also the only head I use at this point. Tried the others and they're just meh for me. Dentist reported I've been doing a really good job at keeping everything clean compared to usual and the only new thing is this and a different kind of toothpaste (weldental tabs). The low is plenty gentle considering how I have 0 enamel along my gum line in some spots and overall pretty horrible teeth, lotta fillings. At higher settings the machine kind of stutters, like it stops for a second then keeps going. Idk what going on but sometimes I smell that plasticy burning smell. But I've had it for just under 2 months now, day one it was doing it.I add pure xylitol to the basin then rinse it with water. Once every other week I use a tiny amount of bleach n water and run it through (it says use vinegar but we have a ice machine and vinegar let's it get moldy still, no thanks. Maybe I'll try baking soda and see if that works like it does the ice machine) then just water to rinse that out. I always ALWAYS leave the head dangling over the counter, I just toss a towel under it, this way there isn't a lot of water just sitting in it. The moment i see mold ill be ripping it apart to clean and replace the tube LOL. I do wish the tube was clear, I might find one I can replace it with thats clear.Overall I really love the thing, I plan on traveling for a month or two and I'm definitely going to need a flosser, it makes such a difference.
