The shells are huge, kernels are small, making for an unsatisfactory eating experience. All of the flavor & salt sits on the outside of the shell, rendering the kernel disappointing. Basically, you get a hit of the sugar barbecue flavor on the shell, then none of the nutty, fatty, salty goodness you expect from the kernel.Even the production description agrees; describes it as having "a crunchy, brittle kernel" -- as if that were a good thing.Would probably taste better just to suck on the shell and then spit it out whole.
