Great book! Lots of well taken pictures of great examples of beautiful cabins. Details and sketches included. I just wish there were more tropical designs too…

外国の、窓が大きく天井の高い箱型の、山湖や森や海に面した大小別荘の写真や間取りを通常の大型本の半分のサイズで分厚く重い本です。ログハウスタイプは無く、構造材にある種の合成材を用いたりポリカ・ガルバニウム波板の屋根とか、安っぽくなり過ぎない程度に上手に省力化コストダウン化させてる様な物件が多い様に思いました。平地では床下の無い建物が多い。箱型・プレキャスト・既製品の利用で全体に工期は短い建屋に思いました。大小暖炉・ストーブが場合によって建屋内に複数あるが、薪が無かったり少ない事から、燃焼材にペレットやエタノールを使ってると思われる。日本庭園・建築の影響か、自然石や採光への小さな工夫が取り入れられてるように思いました。
