Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch Cereal, 12.3 oz (Pack of 12), Non-GMO

I recently discovered this cereal at a discount grocery store and thought I would give it a try and it was cheap. Well...it's delicious! We went thru the one bag in about a week and now I can't find it anywhere in the local grocery stores. So, I tried Amazon and yippee! The only thing was that I could only buy it in multiple quantities so I bought 6 bags, and it wasn't cheap either! The cereal is very good though. It has just a hint of cinnamon so it's not overwhelming. The flakes look like Corn Flakes cereal but unlike Corn Flakes, they don't get all soft and mushy within 5 minutes of putting milk on them. They stay pretty crispy right until you take the last bite. They are not overly hard, just lightly crispy. My husband and I have been eating them every morning. A nice change from toast or bagels or from a heavy breakfast. P.S. They help to make you regular too. That's a plus!

Received on November 5, 2025. All 12 have a best by date of November 4, 2025. Yes I am aware of the definition of a best by date, but nevertheless it is not exactly encouraging. So be warned, why is it so cheap like 35 dollars instead of 50 dollars? It's because it's about to or have expired!

These were a real steal pricewise, and I think I know why. They were within eight weeks of their expiration date. They tasted fine.

This order description said there are 12 boxes of the cereal, but the box I received only had 11 boxes in it.

I like to use a combination of these cinnamon flakes with the Heritage flakes, also made by Nature's Path. The Heritage flakes have better nutritional stats, but a mixture can add some flavor dimension that you don't get with each alone. Even by itself, the cinnamon flake flavor could really stand to be kicked up a notch. I understand why cinnamon is the last ingredient listed, but you might know that there are many different types of cinnamon from around the world and one with a more sharp flavor would help this flake to have more "attitude." Right now, for my taste buds, the flavor is restrained perhaps formulated to suit a larger group of buyers.

This is my favorite cereal. It is hard to find in the stores. I bought 12 last year and it worked out fine. This year I was disappointed because it expired on April 9. As this is for my personal use. I could not use it that fast and ended up with more than half expired.
