Well worth the expense. Exceeds expectations.

Very heavy not good for birding.
Much heavier than is practical to use. You would need a tripod to hold them if you are using them for any period of time. They would not focus clearly so I could see the distinct color of the birds I was looking at.

Sharp images but heavy
Amazing, sharp view, but so heavy you need a tripod - which we now have.

The view is just too small to be practical. It might work for some people in some situations but it really does not seem to be very practical for an everyday kind binocular user

Has problem with double vision in this 2007 model. Only can use one side at a time.
