Totally AWESOME !
I ordered this barely days ago and it has already arrived. Unpacked and assembled in less than 30 minutes, including trying to whisk away those pesky styrofoam crumbs. I used only a U.S. quarter, a phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Instructions are modest but adequate, sequential and in verbiage with images, not in those universal symbols used by a certain Scandinavian company. I did not have to insert the casters since the base came with the casters in place. (Perhaps that is a recent improvement). Also LEVO included two extra sets of the tiny bolt-washers-nut assemblies needed attach the page holders. Very generous thank you. The stand is soooooooo adjustable - EASILY adjustable. It is heavy, rolls well on the casters and is stable. I sit in a very low chair and with the vertical supports collapsed completely the book is at just the right height. If the vertical support was completely extended I could read from it standing up (I am 5'6"). My current book is about 500 hundred pages. Poor eyesight requires that the page be fairly close to my face to see the print. I tried a stack of pillows but my arms/hands still got tired of trying to keep the book in position. I have frequently thought about getting some kind of book stand and I am really glad I finally did. (I have a 600-page book in my reading stack.) This book stand is a marvel! It is black and does not match anything in my home but I am never giving it up. A small price to pay for such a wonderful tool. I only shopped online and fancied some of the other book stands I found - more elegant, beautiful woods or classy chrome. But in reading the reviews I found previous buyers were disappointed and some were just stuck with a bad purchase. Overall, this stand has gotten very positive reviews and I can see why. The only small issue that came up was in mounting my fat book on the plate. It mounted just fine but because it is quite thick and I am at the beginning of the book, the left page was closer to the plate than the right page. This made the right pages bend toward the center spine and the page did not lay flat. I put a 1/2" thick book under the left side of my book. Anchored the left strap again and now the book pages are flat on both sides of the book. I may not have described this well but if you mount a thick book you will immediately understand the issue. And please note - it is not an issue with the book stand. I highly recommend this product and would buy again, and again. If I can tear myself away from reading in comfort I will come back and post a photo.

My Savior from Neck Pain!
I read a lot. Like, a lot. Like two or three books a week. Some of those books are mass market paperbacks that I can easily hold up in front of my face (even though it's annoying to do so). Many of them are not. I have a lot of large, annotated volumes (Sherlock Holmes, Brother's Grimm, etc.) and other large, hardcover books. My neck is in almost constant pain from looking down at what I'm reading. Well, it was, anyway. Now, let me say up front that I don't think this thing should cost the 180 dollars you're going to pay for it after shipping and everything. Not to say that's it's not solidly built. It is. But the materials are cheap (Just some cast iron, plastic bits, and screws/washers) and they are obviously easy to mass manufacture. I really think the only reason they can get away with their price is because they don't have any competitors offering a similar product. Now that that's out of the way, boy, is this thing awesome. It saves me from my neck pain, and it's incredibly easy to use. It has two velcro/plastic bits that you're supposed to use to strap the front and back cover to the board. I've found that this isn't really necessary (not to mention downright frustrating when you want to change books) and I've taken them completely off and have them put up in case I need them. Perhaps if it was a particularly heavy book and you were reading while lying down they would come in handy, but typically the two wire page-holders provide enough tension to keep the book pressed in place against the board, and there are feet at the bottom to hold it, as one would expect. It's super easy to turn the page, so don't even worry about that. But the BEST thing about this is how you can easily move it in and out of position. I sit on a couch. In front of the couch is my coffee table, and on that is my laptop. I have this set up to the left of the coffee table and I can easily swing it up OVER my laptop screen to get it in and out position. I literally don't have to move anything out of the way. I don't even have to close my screen. It's great. It's hard to say if this is worth it. It depends on how much you read, the size of the books you read, how you sit when you read, how that posture effects you, etc. All I know is that, for me, It wasn't a matter of worth--it was a necessity, and my only complaint is that I think it cost me more than it should have but I HAD to get it anyway.

I would give this 20 stars if I could
As a person with numerous finger, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, bicep/tricep, and rotator cuff injuries, I cannot say enough about how much I love this book stand! $200 is a lot of money, but it's pretty clear to me already that it was money well spent. I previously purchased a much less-expensive book stand made by Lecco which has done a passing job but has to be physically picked up to be moved and the mechanism for both holding the book and adjusting the height and angle cannot compare to this Levo G2 Deluxe. You will not tear or even damage pages with this book holder and it is sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight. The heavy base with casters insures that this thing isn't going to tip over but it can easily be rolled out of the way with one hand. Just as importantly, this stand gives you a nearly limitless range of positions from which to keep a book handy. I use it in a recliner with a laptop or keyboard and it is so sturdy and the movement of the arms and other parts is so smooth that everything but turning the pages is a one hand job. And speaking of turning the pages, this product has an ingenious method for doing just that, again without any issues with damaged or torn pages. It is so well-made. If you need hands-free access to books for any reason whatsoever, do not hesitate to purchase this stand. It does require a minimum of assembly but it is not complicated at all-- the directions are very clear and the wrench is included. I cannot recommend this product highly-enough!

This book stand changed my life, no exaggeration. 7 stars
I love to read, but I have a messed up spine and hands, and it is difficult and painful to hold books up to read. My collection of failed apparati to remedy this issue includes tabletop stands, pillows, and clamp arms. None of them worked very well, and I got out of the habit of reading over the years. I recently had an idea that there had to be a floor stand version of what I had, and that might work. But in my search, I found something far superior. I hesitated at the cost, but recalled that you usually get what you pay for. I would now pay twice as much for a new one if something happened to my beloved book stand! We actually call it the Book Stand of Legend. I’ve had it for nearly a year now, and I can’t go a day without using it. I’m devouring books at the rate I did as a kid, and it’s utterly fantastic. It holds the heaviest 1000 page hardbacks I’ve put on there without even trying. The Velcro straps at first seemed clumsy, but they work incredibly well for holding hardbacks. I did trick it out a bit with magnets to hold paperbacks securely, and that is literally the only improvement I would suggest. The weight of the base keeps it completely sturdy it’s the arm fully extended. The page arms are AMAZING!!! All three exclamation points completely necessary. My fingers are particularly weak, and I can easily change the page one-handed while drinking coffee with the other hand. The book support tabs work quite well for hardbacks, again slightly less well for paperbacks, but my added magnets hold those just fine, and the tabs fold down when you don’t need them. The caster wheels are also wonderful, and allow me to move this remarkably heavy stand easily with almost no effort at all, even to other rooms, though I had a very hard time moving the base plate at all during assembly, and I’m not sure I could pick it up now if I tried. I can swing the arm smoothly and easily to tuck it away when not in use. It is a permanent fixture in my reading corner, but takes up less space than an ottoman. If you’re digging through reviews because you’re actually considering buying this, just do it. You’ll thank yourself later.

Great for Light Books, Not Ideal for Heavy Textbooks
The construction of this book stand is clever and very user-friendly. It’s easy to move, adjust the height, and even use while lying in bed—which is a huge plus. For lighter, thinner books, it works amazingly well. However, I was disappointed that the head doesn’t hold heavier or thicker books securely. My biology and medical textbooks tend to slide or tilt, even when adjusted carefully. That was actually the main reason I purchased the stand. If you mostly read small- to medium-sized books, this is a fantastic product. But for large or heavy books, it may not be the right fit.

A BRILLIANT DESIGN! I LOVE THIS THING!!!!! THANK YOU, LEVO!!!!!! You did good!!!!!
I got this because I wanted to read at night in the bed and trying to hold a book above my face for extended lengths of time was very uncomfortable and caused eventual wrist pain. I've just spent my first evening with it and it is AMAZING! It's very well-built, sturdy and does not tip over easily even with a heavy book like my 2215 page hardcover Henry Morris Study Bible! It's pricey, but solves my problem beautifully! With all the time it will now allow me to read in comfort I'M VERY PLEASED AND EXCITED with my investment. I couldn't wait to write this review! The design is perfect and well-thought out. I use it basically to suspend my books above my face and it handles this very securely. The page holder clips work surprisingly well. I was afraid they may be awkward while turning pages but that's not an issue at all! I love everything about this stand and I highly recommend it it! This is one of the few items I've ordered that has far exceeded my expectations! I'm looking forward now to reading all my many books comfortably in bed before going to sleep. I love how it allows me to read and shift my body position while the book stays untouched exactly where it is! SWEET! Assembly was very easy and quick! I would think ANYONE who loves to read would love having one of these! It's a Godsend for me...because now I can spend more quality time with my Bible study books which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!

Great
Bought this for my mother in law. She has neck issues and could no longer look down to read. She sits in a recliner to read, so this product seemed like the best option. It’s very adjustable. Great product and worth the money. Everything else I looked at didn’t seem like it would serve the purpose of not having to look down to read.

Holds Book Securely, Can Turn Pages One Handed
My mother had a stroke a year ago and one of the nightmares of her situation has been that she can't read due to full loss of use of her left arm and hand. I've bought a number of different props and stands for her to try, but as she also can't sit up for long without blood pressure drops, none of those held the book at the right angle for her. Enter the LEVO. It is very solid, works with her hospital bed height, even holds paperbacks (though hardbacks fit better in it), and with a little finger dexterity you can lift the little spring arm to slide a page out to turn and repeat on the other side to secure it again. The staff in her facility hasn't been able to do much tech support of any sort but my brother was able to finally get in her room and organize things better. He says she still is getting a few pages at once but once he helped adjust it for her it has really helped. It is still very easy to nick the edges of a page trying to extract it from the spring arm. Mom tends to have cheaply bought F&SF books from used book stores and library sales, so a bit of mangling doesn't matter unless it causes paper cuts later, but other users should be aware this is not for valuable books where you care about edge damage. I have recently bought the tablet holder headpiece to swap in with the book holder. I get to see Mom tomorrow and I hope to find that it is an easy swap, so she can use a tablet again and read Kindle books too but not be locked in to one reading medium. The instructions on the tablet holder say nothing about how to mount it, so I'm hoping the stand instructions have that information. Speaking of assembly, this wasn't super simple. My husband is tool-savvy and reasonably strong and it took his skills to put the stand together. Also it is a very heavy piece of equipment; I'm not strong and I could only barely lift it in and out of my car to take it to Mom after assembly and testing. 5 stars because while it's not perfect for Mom's needs, it's the only solution we've found that gives her even a chance of reading books again. Once my brother had a chance to handle it he told me it was a really great purchase.

Works really well - I'm very impressed
I get neck ache after a while reading. I've used cushions on my knee with limited success. Then I found this! Assembly was pretty straightforward. What took longer was clearing up the mess of the polystyrene packaging! My biggest concern before buying it was how practical would it be? For example how easy would turning pages be? How easy would keeping the book in position be? The answer is its remarkably well designed. Turning pages is very quick and simple. The book stays in place - though I wouldn't want to keep changing books - it takes a minute or so to get things spot on. And definitely helps with my neck ache. It feels solidly build and is easy to move round the house. So far I've just used it with paperbacks - not tried a big heavy hard back yet. But I'm very pleased with the purchase. The worst thing is the price!

Levo floor stand for books, magazines and tablets, #1 in USA
Very sturdy, well packed in very nature-friendly stuff, comes with very lovely welcoming letter from seller Serious Readers in UK, relatively easy to assemble. Stable, handy. Maybe I’d like better white or grey stand, but there was just this gunmetal colour in offer. A little “träurig” colour. Seller is very careful about clients, I contacted with them by phone and via email about special cradle for iPad Pro 12.9”, so far everything is almost ideal. Never felt better in my neck, arms and eyeballs during reading and using iPad Pro 12.9”, than now, with this. Only negative - overpriced. I do not regret purchase, but in US Levostore and in UK 30-40% cheaper, but as it comes to EU, it becomes 261€. I do not regret, I was hunting for just this stand for 3-4 years, and always was written: it does not ship to your country or - out of stock and we don’t know, when it will be available again. And now I finally got this, while I’m alive yet! Harry Jirgensons, MD, Riga, Lettland

Worth it.
Absolute amazing! Good and solid quality build coming from a craftsman perspective, everything feels very solid and heavy. Building process was very uncomplicated. Just lifting the weight plate I already knew this was going to be worth it ordering it from the UK to Germany.
