THIS IS THE BEST BALSAMIC VINEGAR I HAVE EVER TASTED AND BEST PRICE FOR THIS PRODUCT
THIS IS THE BEST BALSAMIC VINEGAR THAT I HAVE EVER TASTED!!! FANTASTIC PRICE FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL AUTHENTIC BOTTLE. I'm using this bottle for special occasions and also purchased the Vecchio Cantalupo 3 year aged bottle from you at the same time for everyday use--it's just as syrupy as the 25 year old with a great taste that you cannot find anywhere else. Everything that I anticipated and more. Excellent product, excellent seller, and super quick delivery. I'm ordering another bottle to give for a 25th year anniversary gift.I definitely recommend this product and will absolutely purchase from you again.

Outstanding!
Oh, my, but this is good! Just put about 10 drops on a spoon and taste it straight - it's an explosion of flavor. It's like nothing else.I always like to do little comparisons when I buy something expensive like this - in this case I had a recent bottle of good ol' Kirkland balsamic vinegar - "Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena." It's pretty good - I like to pour some onto a small plate along with some olive oil and sop it up with good bread. Yum.But this vinegar, even though it's also balsamic vinegar, is a completely different product. It's a completely different substance, actually. There's just no comparison. The regular stuff is about the consistency of any vinegar. This Extra Vecchio is thick, viscous. The flavor is intense, but not harsh at all. There are sweet notes, almost like fig, and a bit of a bite, all balanced. It's incredible. My favorite way to have this is drizzled over a slice of baguette along with some really superb olive oil (like PJ Kabos). It was delivered sooner than expected, too. I looked at a few different Extra Vecchios, but I'm glad I bought this one, from this importer. I'll buy again!Update - August 10, 2018: It's so good I ran out... so I bought another bottle. Mmmmmmm.

Great texture and flavor but too much sediment
Excellent quality 25+ year balsamico, thick and richly flavored. Great price too. However when we got to the bottom of the bottle there was nearly one inch of thick sediment which is a lot for a small bottle

Arrived damaged with no return policy
When the bottle arrived the cork was so dry that it crumbled. Apparently there is no return or exchange policy either.

By far the best of the best.
This balsamic is out of this world! I just made the best mahi mahi in balsamic butter sauce. Now I can never go back to store bought. You can not compare the two. I very highly recommend this. It's worth every penny. I will be ordering another bottle. It's also very good in cocktails. The bottle goes a long way. Very thick. I used 2 teaspoons on a 1.5lb fillet. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

So-So vinegar
Too strong raisin flavor and not sweet. I have an 18 year old with a much better flavor.

Great - The Best
While I can't imply that I am any great critic of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, this is by far the best I've ever had. I taste no raisins though I know the this is a reported contaminant . The flavor is rich, deep and delightful. I'll certainly buy again. It is very thick and viscous and stayed on top of the bread and italian dry sausage.
