Very helpful while I was trimming my cat's claws. Last tim he bit me, so this was perfect. Easy to put on him & he could breathe & stay calm.

My fur baby would never let us trim her nails. I put meds in her throat daily thats ok, but trim a nails, no way. She would get angry quick.Bought this mask and what a difference! She can breathe just fine and can not bite us. It actually calms her a bit. Easy to put over her face and simply Velcro's to close on her head. Definitely helps us to get her nails cut with out a vet visit! Definitely would recommend!

The cat would be more accepting of the mask if the mesh were softer.

Great little mask,when I put it on my cat it seems to calm him down...however he can still bite thru the mask......no damage to the mask but he cant stand you doing anything to him.....bath, nails, combing out hairballs,etc. He is a rescue and a sweet cat aside from that. He doesnt mind the mask being put on, its just when you try do do something to him.

We rescued a 3 year old surrendered cat. He showed us right away no one was touching his paws. His claws were super long and you could hear them clicking on the kitchen linoleum. I have always cut my cats claws and never had issues with them. He was definitely going to be a challenge. I caught him after he ate. The muzzle went on smoothly- fit him great. Looked comfortable. He was very angry when I sat down with him to start cutting. He tried so hard to bite- the muzzle protected me. I had to get a towel to wrap him to do each paw, because he then tried to claw me away, the muzzle saved me from becoming a bloody mess. The muzzle definitely is durable and strong because he tried so hard to get it off. The job got done, no one (human or cat) got hurt & I kinda saved his life a second time because my husband said if the claws don’t get cut and he scratches the new furniture we will be getting next week, he’s going back to the shelter, although he never scratches the current stuff.I totally recommend this muzzle. I got a large, in blue. My rescue is a very muscular cat around 16-17 lbs. if he breaks out the next time I use it, I’ll definitely write an update but for now it’s great!

My house was beginning to become destroyed as a result of my cat scratching everything to shreds all because I was not able to cut his nails. He is kind and sweet but when it comes to touching his paws he is terribly aggressive.Enter this. I was in absolute shock. It’s almost like he WANTED to be totally unaware of Whatev we were doing to his paws. “Outta sight. Outta mind.” Bc while he did moan, he of course, wasn’t able to bite and really didn’t try kicking me away very much.As soon as I took it off, he was back on my lap purring. And I made sure to leave it out for a bit so he knows that it’s not always there just for his mani/pedi a grows resentful. As of now. He doesn’t seem to mind. I regret waiting eight yrs to buy this.

My cat bites horribly when she gets brushed. This solves the problem. Also, we had a cat that passed recently that had to be bathed often. He was far more calm and less panicky when we put this mask on him. Not being able to see really helped him. I put a rag over my eyes when I get a brain MRI and it’s kinda the same deal.

I got this to use this when trimming my cat’s claws. The muzzle goes over a cat's snout and it is secured in the back of a cat's head with Velcro straps.My cat is a Persian and he has a flatter face than most cats. This muzzle did not fit him. When I put it on him, there was a few inches of empty space in the front of the muzzle. I was also not able to secure the muzzle in the back of his head, because the straps were too short to reach around my cat's head. Maybe my cat has a big head, but he is not a large cat. Trying on this muzzle made my cat very upset.The muzzle is stitched well and seems sturdy. The material is coarse with lots of little holes in it. If it rubbed against a cat's eyes, that might not be good. The manufacturer is Doglemi. There is no label that says what the material is made out of. I got a size large, but I have a feeling that this muzzle was designed for small cats that have a large snout. It did not fit my cat, so I could not use it.
