Jet Performance 69125 Powr-Flo Mass Air Sensor , Black

I had a hard time buying this because the reviews kept saying that the check engine light kept coming on after it was installed. Others suggested to un hook the negative battery cable for an hour or more before you unhook the stock one, slap this bad boy in, reconnect negative battery cable and enjoy. This mod is one of those things that help with performance when coupled with other upgrades such as Cold Air Intake, Throttle Body Spacer, exhaust, (or in my case the SLP slip on that removes the last resonator. This Mass Air Sensor widen parameters with in the programming allowing the ECU to adjust for a more potent performance enhancing air fuel ratio. I think the throttle response is better, the wide open throttle used when on the freeway passing cars, and low end torque is up. Worth the $150. This is Amazon, if it does not work you can return it, but I think you will be happy with the results. This went on my 2009 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3L V8, no check engine light after 400 miles.

1 month update. My truck kept dropping into limp mode. All the codes were airflow related. I replaced the JET with a new OEM. No more codes, no limp mode. My SUV has 150K on the odometer and the OEM sensor was throwing codes. I have a few mild upgrades so I thought I'd replace the faulty sensor with the JET sensor. I suppose for other products JET is great, but a simple MAF.... I dunno. It's 3x the price, but is it 3x the product? In short, I doubt I'd buy JET over OEM for the MAF if I had it to do all over again. Compared to the faulty sensor, this is amazing, but compared to the OEM when it was working correctly, I can't tell any difference. So yeah, big shoulder shrug.

About 6,000 miles since the install. I've had no problems with check engine lights like others have mentioned. This isn't going to give you more power, per se. This gives your ECU a better reading of how much air is coming in to the engine if you've installed a larger intake. In that sense, you can get more power from a more accurate reading, but the gains are going to be insignificant. This is about having a more reliable engine that can be more aggressively tuned with an aftermarket intake than is possible with a factory MAF.

Noticeable increase in power and throttle response when paired with an aftermarket intake and exhaust. Works great on my 2010 Chevy Silverado Z71 5.3.

Not sure I noticed a difference (maybe little smoother idle?) idk...Didn’t change for the worse for sure tho. I did a few other mods at similar time so hard to tell. Didn’t get a check engine light and super easy install.

2011 silverado 5.3, installed in about 5min. along with cold air, throttle body spacer, and superchip flashpac. noticed drastic increase in horsepower and throttle response from stock. will be installing short tube headers and Jet throttle body and thermostat in next 2 weeks. it is the culmanation of all the parts that give you results. very pleased.

has not preformed the way it should,I have had check engine light on a couple of times , code say's it is the Mass Air Sensor.

This set off the check engine light in my truck. I could feel more HP and better throttle response but didn't want to risk ruining something. I have one for sale if you want one.
