9GreenBox Nautical Decorative Fish Net 5' X 10' - Fish Netting - Rustic Beach Decor

My initial review was rejected so I'll simply share the photos - they verify and demonstrate my experience ( Quantity ordered: 2 BUT I received 1 made in USA the other China, 1 more than twice the size of the other, 2 different colors, 2 different size openings, 2 different thickness of netting material)

Made a nice wall art piece above our guest room daybed. It goes well with the beach theme. The odor and stiffness was a bit overwhelming when I took it out of the bag, but I soaked it in mixture of oxiclean, water, and a touch of fabric softener overnight which did the trick. It was pliable enough to drape on mini hooks and hang naturally.

This was for our son's room. I wish I could give it zero stars. I wish I could return it but we trashed it because it smelled like dead rotting salmon. It even had pine needles in the bag with the net! Talk about genuine. I was wanting decor, not a genuine net. We tried to wash it, and got a lot of either dirt or dye. Either way it smelled so bad after we washed it. Amazon wouldn't just give us our money back, they wanted the nasty thing returned.

If you stretch this along the long side, you'll be lucky to get 8 feet out of it—nowhere near 10 feet. The width is about 5 feet, as advertised. I bought two, and they are identical.If you're looking for a stiff netting (and don't mind a little salty smell or the diminutive size), these might be for you.I specifically looked at the picture to make sure that this made from a cotton or jute (or similar natural material) that was tied at the joints. The image they are using is not a picture of the netting you will receive. This is a synthetic material that is melted together where it's joined.These are crap. I'm returning them.

I bought this net for a craft project (used it to cover 20 mason jars) and used the remaining to decorate a dessert table. The net was stretchy and fulfilled my purpose for it. It didn't smell or anything when I got it. I would definitely recommend this!

This netting was better than I hoped for. It is not flimsy, it's rather sturdy and pliable. It was so wide I was able to cut it down the middle so I have another piece to use. I had seen others complaining about an door, or quality, but the quality was top notch, and there is no door. Believe me if there was I would know. Is beyond happy!

I bought this for my outdoor Tiki Bar so wanted something sturdy that could hold up against the elements. It looks like genuine fishing net and honestly has a bit of a smell as if it were used for fishing. Since I have it outside that is not a concern for me but if you want it inside beware.I have had some up that I bought years ago which held up well and this matches them perfectly. There were cheaper versions available so if you wanted for a one time party you could go that route, but for something to hold up to the elements year round this fits the bill for me and I’d recommend it!

Very thick and good quality. I used this for center piece mason jars.
