101 Uses for a Dead Cat

I bought a copy of this book when it was first published years ago. I lost it in a divorce many years ago. I found the book on Amazon and put it in my cart , I forgot about it, until I ordered another product . I was in a hurry and just selected contents. The book showed up on my door step. I am happy to have a new copy. I really like it now since I am a full fledge dog person.If you buy the book be prepared to deal with some serious “dry” humor.Entertaining!!

Whether you're a cat lover - or not - Or whether you think you'd have a sense of humor about cats - or not - this book is hilarious! Great gift for anyone with cats, or even better for someone who'd never get a cat (ha ha ha).

This book really does give you 101 uses for a dead cat. If you are thinking about giving this as a gift, and your potential recipient has little or no sense of humor, don't even consider giving it. If you dislike your potential recipient, and they love their cat(s), you might consider making an anonymous gift because they may not like you after they get this book. Personally, I like cats. But I also have a sense of humor and enjoyed most of the whimsical uses for the dead cat. I didn't care for all of the uses but overall I enjoyed reading this book.

Great for a stocking stuffer or friend with a dark sense of humor. Hilarious illustrations...get ready to see your cat in a whole new way. Fun!

The title says it all and still brings a smile to my face as well as a hearty chuckle. My parents had this book as a kid. I somehow remembered it recently and decided to look it up and order it. Makes a great coffee table conversation piece! Definitely worth the money and laughs!

The book isn't terribly much more creative than the sample pages Amazon gives you, and personally, I didn't find any of it particularly funny. I just appreciate the casual hilarity of having this book on display in the office. It takes all of 30 seconds to flip through the book and enjoy the various depictions of cat carcasses. I found a small handful of them to be particularly humorous, but nothing to write home about. Serves my purposes, though.

I bought two of these at the same time. One for me and one for my friends son. I had a copy of this many years ago and I laughed just as much now as I did then. Came in perfect shape and quick delivery. If you have a shelf or basket in a bathroom that your guests use where you keep reading material, I recomend that you include this book in that collection. You will hear laughter come from your bathroom and your embaressed guest will be forced to explain themselves. Just act like you never put that book in there and are appalled that anyone would put such a thing in your bathroom, much less choose to read it. Repeat prank on different guests as deemed necessary.

I have loved this book since I was a little girl I have the original book which is a bigger book that my mom had but I can’t find it and I wanted my kids to read it even though it’s kind of morbid but I love this book thanks a lot, Tracy

Bit tounge in cheek really, I bought this as a joke for a friend who had an unfortunate experience with a cat. I don't by any means think losing a pet is funny but certain life experiences require a bit of sick humour to make it through

First read this back in the 1980's, after losing 7 cats on the road outside our house. It made me laugh and laughter is the best medicine, according to Readers Digest.

It's funny, although not nice for cats, but fair enough for all birds because cats don't need to hunt birds at all and because the human population of the UK suffers of feline madness. No harm done to any real cats, but they should be nuted and castrated to keep numbers down, and those outside must have at least one bell on the collar to give birds at least the chance to escape.

Amusing book which has been around for years. Handy stocking filler.
