How to Remove/Add air &water !!!!
These Sand Art Pictures are very Beautiful, Affordable and of Good Quality ! They are less expensive than competitive brands and function quite well if "flipped over" at least once a day to keep them flowing well. The sand colors of this particular product line tend to shimmer and gleem much more vibrantly than others (because, they contain more glitter inside them) and this company tends to use brighter colored sand than most. This however doesn't necessarily make the quality of their sand any better than others but they do use more glitter and brighter colored sand than many others. What's missing or deliberately not included with their product is the proper size Hypodermic Needle needed to occasionally regulate/control the "flow speed" of the sand inside. This Needle is required in order to be able to add/remove air and water (occasionally) otherwise, the sand will not flow correctly ! These needles can be purchased online from other Sand Art picture seller's. Once receiving this product, you will notice that there are no "visible" holes to stick a needle through. However, you will also notice a layer of silicone that wraps around the entire inside ledge of this sand picture. After allowing the picture to sit/settle overnight, tilt the entire picture frame up on it's corner (being careful since it's glass) and you will notice a "bubble air pocket". This is where you want to stick the needle thru the silicone where you will see it enter the inside air bubble. You may have to stick the needle thru the silicone from the front or back side of the picture. Now you will be able to either Add or Remove air to regulate the speed of the falling sand. You can also add water this way as well. However, to remove water, you tilt the picture the same way as you would to add/remove air but you stick the needle into the silicone below the "air bubble pocket" avoiding it altogether and then, slowly pull back on the syrenge removing some water. REMEMBER....Never to add or remove too much air or water because, it's possible that the thin layers of glass holding the sand could possibly crack or, the sealed seems of the silicone could begin to leak from expanding and contracting. The perfect setting is for your bubbles to extend along the top reaching from one side to the other and remember that the smaller the bubbles are, the better the effect is. In order to make the bubbles small, you will need to shake the entire picture from side to side being Very Careful not to drop it or it's game over ! As a final note, it is practically IMPOSSIBLE to get ANY sand art picture to CONSISTENTLY flow the way you would like it and therefore, they will CONSTANTLY need air added or removed from them as well as being turned over almost on a DAILY basis in order to keep the sand, water and air inside them flowing as best as possible and, you only want to remove / add water as a Last and Final Resort because, the water inside of them contains a small amount of soap detergent to help assist the sand to fall and both you and I don't know exactly how much that is. If done wrong, you will ruin your sand art picture forever !!!

Just as described
Not an especially entertaining item, but it is what it is. Quality is fine. Something to play with that isn't electronic or noisy. Calming.

Sand doesn't flow
While it is nice to look at, at some point the sand stopped flowing down as easy, and now it has stop all together. The frame doesn't have any cracks, and the air bubble is still present. By the time my son (who I gifted this frame) told me it was not working properly, the return time-frame had expired.

IRITATING AT BEST! :((((
First to consider is the fact that people buy these things to relax their mind while they ponder things. This thing misses the point completely. It is frustrating and irritating. Rather than let your mind wander, it keeps you constantly trying to find a way to make the sand flow without clogging up. You shake it, tilt it, rotate it, and generally do everything but move the sand yourself, but the sand chokes up anyway. It's not supposed to keep you that busy. It's supposed to set your mind free. Instead, it just delivers irritation. I threw it away after several days of trying to get it to work properly. Save your money and your mind. Buy a Lava Lamp. (lol)

Did not flow and leaked after adjusting it.
The product looked great but did not function. I looked up and followed all instructions and at last resorting to using a needle to adjust the water and air as per several websites including instructions included with product. Using a appropriate needle the product started to leak and did not stop nor did it ever work. I am going to attempt to seal it but I would recommend paying for a higher quality product.
