Plax Advanced PreBrushing Dental Rinse, Soft Mint, 24 Ounce

I need to fight plaque and gum issues, being that I have deep 'pockets' between my teeth. I have dental cleanings every 3 months for this reason and still it's not enough to fight off plaque, which causes bone loss issues for me. After researching online, I found Plax. Reasonably priced and it works as a 'precursor' to brushing, which I found out after buying it and reading the label more closely. You only need a bit (I use it twice a day and seems to last me 1.5-2 months, I just ordered my 2nd bottle and subscribed for bi-monthly deliveries), and it foams through your mouth - then you spit (no rinse after!) and start brushing. For brushing too I learned that it might be beneficial (I am no dentist by any means) to not rinse after brushing, only spit out the excess as it should help the active ingredients doing their job longer/better.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. I bought it on a whim because the price was lower than other mouthwashes. I figured it’d be like any other mouthwash, but I was completely wrong!! PLAX is now my absolute favorite step in my teeth cleaning routine. It’s meant to be used before brushing, which felt weird at first but now I don’t think I could go back to the old way now. There’s something about it that actually makes my mouth feel clean, not just like I swished around some minty alcohol. After brushing, everything feels smoother, fresher, and like it actually worked better because of that first rinse. I’ve never had that with other mouthwashes, which usually just sting and dry my mouth out. The mint is gentle and not harsh at all. It’s also not trying too hard with gimmicks. It just quietly does its job and actually changes how your mouth feels, but not in the way that leaves it tasting funky for hours afterward. Like, genuinely cleaner. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular mouthwash.

This is the best mouthwash you can get your hands on. It’s cheap, and effective. The taste is good too. And it lasts all day long.

This stuff works great. I like it better than the other green bottles.

I love this stufff. I do it as a pre rinse before brushing. It is a mild mint, not an obnoxious strong flavor. Perfect. Great to keep plaque off teeth.

Tastes horrible but, it's effective. I would maybe purchase again if different flavor is available.

Plax is such an Awesome product. I have been using for years. Don’t Brush your teeth without this pre rinse first. All my Dental appointments are outstanding. I’m 64 years old. Plax help take care of your teeth.

It is better price than local Walmart or Shoppers and it is one of the best product for your mouth! I promise you that your dentist will be impressed with your brushing skills when you start using Plex for about a month! I will continue to buy them as long as it is available!

I have used this product for several years, and have found that it is the best for removing plaque on teeth. I don’t find the taste to be too strong. It is a good Mouthwash after brushing. It’s too bad that my local drugstores aren’t carrying this product anymore. However, am happy to see it offered here.
