Product is Healthy and ready for Planting!
This product arrived promptly from the supplier which actually caught me a little by surprise just because I thought they might have to wait until later in the summer season but I was wrong. The pods arrived green and ready to plant the moment they arrived. The instructions provided were clear and provide you with a step by step way to group you pods for maximum growth. Customer Service was prompt and clear with their response. Highly recommend and I will be purchasing more soon!

Excellent product.
I have ordered these grass plugs for two years now, and will order again. The lawn color is nice and green and blends in perfectly with my existing grass. ALL of the plugs survived and it took me over several weeks to plant them all as I only did a few at a time. If watered, the plugs last a long time before planting. Is a great grass with low watering and easy mowing.

Health but thin
We had our swimming pool removed recently so had about 2000 sq feet that needed grass. I had it sprayed with Bermuda grass but it is just beginning to sprout and it didn’t come up everywhere so I decided to supplement it with sprigs. Therefore I purchased these 72 sprigs. While placing my order I saw the Zoysia sprigs advertised. I had never heard of that grass before but it looked interesting so I also order 50 of those plugs which cost about 60% less after taxes and shipping.I received both at the same time and they both looked very healthy and the box size was about the same. However the Zoysia sprigs looked much thicker. Even after planting the Zoysia looks much thicker as can be seen on the right in the attached picture. In addition each Zoysia was larger so I was able to use the ProPlugger to make the holes for planting whereas I had to use a 1” square tube I happened to have for the Bermuda. With the ProPlugger, I wrote a product review for it, it took about 1/4th the time for the Zoysia as for the Bermuda since the ProPlugger removes the soil whereas the square tube just pushes the soil out of the way which was a lot of work.I am assuming both plants will do well but the Zoysia was much easier to plant and looks much better. At this time I plan to purchased more Zoysia grass. I will edit this review after I’ve seen how well they spread and fill in the spaces.I am posting this same review at both products.

Satisfied
This was the way to go for us to fill in the sparse areas of our yard. The grass was all nice and green. Planting plugs was easy and they are growing and spreading.

Try and have a small plugger for installation.
Exactly how I expected it. I was hoping it would cover more square footage but that was wishful thinking. Hopefully I’m a season or two it will fill in as described. My only true regret is I wish the plugs were the same size as the pro plugger tool I purchased which would have made for easier installation. All in all, good product for small area coverage.

Worst plugs on the market
I am very disappointed with this purchase. The plugs were smaller than other plugs I've purchased. The grass looks very fragile and is not thriving or even responding to water and fertilizer.

Yellow upon arrival
Not sure how healthy these plugs were initially prior to being delivered, but they were already yellowing and even browning upon receipt. Plugged them ASAP as well as watered and fed them. Had to cut the bottom of the plugs off ever so slightly due to all of the roots being brown/orangeish in color and extrenely hard/root bound. Plugged these next to existing grass to of course 1. fill in the bare spots and 2. show the color difference. There is some soybean meal feed next to the plugs so some of the yellow is from that, but still the plugs came in pretty rough in my opinion. I will change the rating if they fill in, but if they do not, then I will lower the star rating.

Looks good
Haven’t planted it yet but came in very green and healthy.1 year in with some consistent fertilizer and water, the Bermuda took over about 50% of my lawn. Definitely good quality
