Excellent value for the money
New bagua deehorn knives arrived today. Are they worth $200. Canadian? Probably in the sense that they feel well made, have some weight and even some balance considering that they are meant to be somewhat point-heavy as weapons. As stated in the ad, they are unsharpened and I'm not sure that that metal would actually take or hold much of an edge, even if worked on by someone who knew what they were doing [I don't, in any case]. Which isn't to say that they feel "cheap" -- they don't -- and even came with a reasonably well-made canvas carrying case. These are a pleasure to use for doing solo form work and are much more realistic replicas than the ones I had years ago that looked like they had been jig-sawed out of sheet aluminum even though they cost almost $100 back in 2000.

Very dependable business to place an order
I greatly appreciate all aspects of doing business with Everything Wushu. Even during these times of uncertain mail delivery, I received this weeks ahead of the delivery estimate. The Deer Horn Knives are well made and sturdy.

Solid construction
It is incredibly hard to find quality deerhorn knives: the few you can find are cheap chrome and cloth and don't stand up to long practice. These are far better made than those.I do not like the shape. I want all blades of equal length, not this "long-nose toucan" style. I'm not removing a star for that: the picture shows the shape clearly. These have good heft, the simulated 'sharp edges' help with edge-awareness, and the wood handles are comfortable.NOTE: The ones my classmate ordered came with a small hole drilled at the bottom, between the two prongs, and three rings dangled from that hole. This defies everything I know about these weapons, as well as common sense. I can only assume it's to enhance their appeal during wushu performances. It was easy to bend the main ring and remove these, and the small hole _is_ small, but it was irritating, especially at this price point and when the image doesn't show these rings. In all, a good buy by my classmate, though I will continue to search for deerhorn of this quality but in the classic "4-long prongs" shape.

Why so expensive?
At close to $200, there should be a little more that just "stainless steel" Also, seemingly no way to contact the seller. I suppose these blades will not be quality. I would like to buy, but I just cant.Self Verified NON-Buyer
