ShinEtsu Silicone Grease High Vacuum Sealing Compound HIVAC-G 100g

I needed a grease for ground glass taper joints and glass syringes. This product is thin, less viscous / stiff than Vaseline. For joints with tight tolerances or valves this worked well. For dessicator jars I am thinking I want something a bit stiffer. It definitely has a great price point, which is why I'm giving it a 5/5. As a release coat for casting epoxy it worked well. And I think for sealing vacuum chambers / bell jars which are under compression it will be great.

Well there are many products available nothing beats this product for weather stripping on a vehicle it's very high quality and will last a long time that's why it's used by professionals. Great value and quality for the price

Bought for husband who takes care of the vehicles. He likes the product and used around front door seals. Wind noise was reduced after use so it helps.

Used this to soften the rubber seals on my removable top vehicle. Works great for maintaining the rubber on cars.

Used this on my 2006 Lexus LS 430's sunroof seal and the exterior door seals. While applying it, I could see it disappearing into the seals, literally drinking it in. I've applied it three times in the last week as the seals were SO...dry. Now? WOW...they all look almost new. They are actually pliable now, and feel and look so...much better. Excellent product, a little dab goes a long way, so inexpensive to use. Highly recommended..

This stuff on automotive rubber trim is worth the price

Good stuff. Very resistant to water, freezing, or heat. Lasts a long time and does not stain clothes.

Using to recondition the door and top and trunk seals on an old car and can definitely tell the seals are more supple and “plumper” since applying this grease.
