Udi's Gluten Free White Sandwich Bread, 8-Pack

I was very excited to find Udi's Gluten Free White Bread at a cheaper price. OR so I thought. I couldn't find any information about this bread in the description, so I had to go off others reviews. That is how I found out there were 8 packages in a case. After receiving my package the box was very large, which seemed appropriate for 8 loafs of bread, upon opening the the box I found a smaller box, which contained the 8 loafs of bread. These are not regular sized sandwich bread, these are mini loafs. The sandwich size you buy in the store is 24oz bag. I currently buy mine at Walmart for about $7 to $8 a loaf, which is why I thought I was getting a better deal by getting this case. The loafs that come in this case are only 12oz. So 2 slices of bread equal almost 1 slice of the regular size bread. I will not be buying these again it is way cheaper to buy the bigger loaf from Walmart.

It's not perfect, but I am so thankful to have some sort of bread! I order the 8 loaves and freeze them. I refrigerate the loaf I'm using at the moment and microwave the slices I want to soften them. The crust is still pretty hard and it definitely isn't a "gluten loaf", but, as I said, I'm thankful to have *something*! I buy this consistently so I guess I am satisfied.

I've tried every gluten free bread out there and nothing beats the flavor and texture of Udi's White Sandwich Bread. The bread freezes well too. I save up the loaf ends (heels) and make bread crumbs out of them.

This Udi's white bread is far and away the best tasting gluten free bread. So relieved to get a supply of it. Its hit or miss at the few local stores that stock it. Thanks a million!

Love, love, love this bread! I have been gluten free since January and have made my own gluten free bread numerous times ---- Udi's is as good as the homemade bread I have made! I order a case and freeze it. Very, very convenient for me.

Pretty good deal for the amount of bread

The only bread my gluten-sensitive husband will eat. Hold up a good while. Doesn't mold quickly. Freezes well.
