This is a beautifully designed, quality product, aesthetically pleasing as well as highly functional. Does not leak when you pour. Ever. I've broken two of these now due in case to use of a wire brush and the other time in the dishwasher. The company promptly honored the warranty. Every tea drinker should have this tea pot in their home.

Pros:- Easy to clean- Spout pours with no drips- Heats well on a gas stovetop- Looks delicate but is still like new after daily use and cleaning for about a month now- Handle remains cool if positioned correctly on the stovetop- Cute little teacups (which I haven't actually used yet)- Can watch tea/water as it heats to a boil if you want- Makes enough for 2-3 mugs of tea- Plastic grip on metal lid allows you to remove the lid when the rest of the piece is hot- Infuser's holes are tiny enough that my rooibos stays in it and doesn't end up with pieces in the tea- The company sends emails and makes themselves available for feedback - note that I didn't respond to the emails but wanted to make sure and give a good review because they seem proactive about customer service, which is awesome!Cons:- Handle can get hot if teapot is positioned in a way that exposes it to too much heat - I heat this on the smaller burner with the handle turned outwards and the pot positioned a tiny bit off center to ensure I can pick it up. When the handle is too hot, I just use a small kitchen cloth to pick it up- Like most tea kettles, water will spill out when it boils if the kettle is overfilled- it would be great in the next iteration of the product to have a max fill lineA lot of love has gone into the design of this little teapot/kettle and it shows! I highly recommend for anyone who loves tea.

For most of my life I've plopped a tea bag into a mug, filled it with water, and microwaved it. That works fine with most tea bags, but loose leaf tea came out wrong almost every single time. So I bought this and some loose leaf teas. Hands down this is one of the best things I have bought on Amazon. It's easy to clean, ergonomic, and keeps in heat well. The little filter for loose leaf teas comes out easily and so you can easily brew flowering or bagged teas. The only downsides I've found while using this is that if you're making dark teas you really ought to have one of those reusable straw cleaners to clean any remnants from the spout, but honestly that's not really a critique because this tea pot doesn't stain. The cups are nice, but they're a bit too small in my opinion. Remember before buying that to properly brew tea you're going to want an electric kettle or something of the sort to externally heat up water. Trust me - if you pour the water (how hot is has to be depends on the tea) over the tea it really brings out the flavor. I would definitely recommend this or even repurchase as a gift!

The cups and teapot come packaged in this very dense foam, super secure. Each of the cups has a small blemish on them since they are blown glass but that's to be expected (it's where they insert the air) and is smooth to the touch. The cups are cool to the touch no matter how hot the liquid due to the double-walled design and the pot handle was also cool to the touch even after microwaving for 3 minutes.The best part however is the teapot itself. The curvature of the base means the water swirls easily without scraping the bottom when stirring in sugar (if you sugar the pot). The spout is also perfectly curved to give that sweet laminar flow. If you don't know what laminar flow is, basically it's a steady stream that is easy to control; which is ideal for pouring tea - particularly into small cups.I haven't tried the sample tea that comes with the set so I can't say anything about its quality or taste, but it comes with three different kinds to try out. There's two loose-leaf (Green, and Jasmine) then one packet just labeled blooming tea (it's a ball which expands into a flower as it steeps to my knowledge.) I assume each packet is enough for one pot but you're also fine adding in whatever loose-leaf tea you own as well as just using bags. I put two herbal tea bags into the basket so I didn't have to fish for them and it worked great.Can't recommend this tea set enough, it's more than worth the price, a high-quality design in function and form.
