A true godsend for our situation
We had 5/8" soundproof (yeah right) drywall installed on our condo "Party walls" and had to extend the outlets and light switches out in order to be at code and to function properly - not to mention look right. Since I was doing the electrical stuff myself I needed the right product to help me out and these were downright perfect for my situation. I bought several of the single gang and 1 triple gang version and both worked so well and look so good that I would nearly say they look better than original. So glad that this product exists because I honestly don't know what else I would have done for some of these - it even covers up bad drywaller cuts around the edges for a nice clean look even before you put outlet covers on!

Works as designed, I recommend this product
I was having issues with finding outlet extension boxes that would fit into my existing outlet box in the wall to extend through to the back of the cabinet. I tried Lowe’s, Home Depot, and other hardware, home-improvement stores, but couldn’t find anything that would work. And this worked out. Awesome!

Not UL or ETL listed. Your inspector may not like it.
The product is decent quality, but it is not listed by any listing agency such as UL. If your inspector notices and they probably will due to the white color, you may have to replace it. I think you are better off spending a little more to avoid any problems. If you are working with low voltage maybe ok, depending on your inspector. If the inspector fails it, he is doing what he is supposed to do.

Best idea ever
It just saved my day. Several outlets ans switches in my new apartment have the boxes sitting too deep in the wall, and it was just hard to install newer (more modern, screwless) wall plates. These boxes just do the trick. Awesome idea, thanks a lot!(4 stars only for sturdiness - it's not super thick material, but whatever; all other parameters are definitely 5 stars, and did I mention it does the job pretty well?)

These are fantastic! A perfect solution for older homes!
Updating all of the switches and receptacles in our townhome, I made the unfortunate discovery that the electrical boxes on the outside walls were set back from the wall as much at 3/4", for whatever reason. And they're the old-style Bakelite plastic boxes. I dreaded the thought of having to replace them. I tried other box extensions and nothing fit these old boxes. So I ordered these extenders. They're the perfect solution to extending the box flush with the wall per National Electrical Code. I did have to use longer screws in some cases but these box extenders solved my problem. Highly recommended.

Nice, but no screws included.........
This is a solid box and I believe it will work for the project that I am needing it for...the only disappointment is it came with NO screws, so now I will have to go to a hardware store and purchase them. Frustrating as the picture that is included with the description of product clearly has screws included. Maybe somewhere it states that they are not included...but it certainly is not clear.

No certification marks, false advertising
This is literally a scam. The product advertisement clearly shows UL/CE certification marks printed on the tab on the product in their images. The actual product has no such markings so is ILLEGAL TO USE, not to code. Making it completely worthless, unless you enjoy losing hundreds of thousands of dollars when your insurance claim gets rejected fo using non compliant hardware after a fire.

Not a secure setup in mny mind
It is adjustable to the distance the back is back of the wall by sliding into the box. However, that means it relies on the drywall to keep it from being pushed back into the wall. However, that did not make it very secure to the box in my mind and left it vulnerable to being pushed further back. It took it out and got spacers that butt up to the box instead. It means the spacer needs to be the right size but it makes for a more secure set-up in my mind.

Easier than metal versions
Tiled a back splash in the hitchen and need a box extender. The metal ones from local shops didn't fit well. These plastic ones are fantastic. Slightly tapered so they slide in no issues and fit tight.
