We got this so we could go on a 14 hour road trip and it worked perfectly. It never faltered and is built well, it is very sturdy and does not bounce unless you are hitting a pretty big bump. It held our tablets and phones very well and it fits perfectly. I like that the arm is long and fully adjustable it’s easy to angle the screen just right. It fits both smaller and larger tablets securely, and the rotation feature makes it super convenient for watching videos or using GPS. Setup was simple and only took a minute. Also it has help up to the extreme heat where we live and has not fallen down.

This holder is much better than others I have used in the past. The gooseneck is very stiff, and can be difficult to bend. In my mind, that's actually a good thing. But what makes this better is: 1) It can hold a 6 inch cellphone or my 10 inch tablet. Many other holders won't open wide enough for that, topping out at 8 - 9 inches. 2) The top of the holder is spring-loaded. That means I don't have to adjust the holder whenever I add or remove a device. Easy in, easy out. 3) The opening on the bottom of the holder is large enough for my charging cable to fit through comfortably. It's also wide enough that I had no trouble with a phone whose charging port is located to one side rather than centered. 4) Unlike other mounts, I have not encountered any sagging. Other mounts required constant adjustment and tightening of the swivel mount. It's been two months now, and I live in an area with very bumpy roads. 5) I can mount this pretty mount anywhere on my dashboard. I'm not limited to an air vent, CD slot, or a cupholder. This allows me to place it the best location for use while driving. I have a Sony stereo, which means I can use Sony's app to control my stereo through my phone. I don't have radio controls on my steering wheel, and the radio is midway down the dash console with tiny buttons. With this gooseneck holder, I no longer have to take my eyes off the road when changing radio stations or MP3s. I also wanted something that could hold my tablet in case I added rearview or sideview cameras on my vehicle. My tablet would then become my heads up display. My phone might be good for one camera, but a 10 inch tablet could theoretically show multiple cameras at the same time. This holder is perfect for my tablet. You may notice that the holder "walks" across your dashboard. What I didn't know at first is that there is a lever above the suction cup. When the lever is open, it allows the gooseneck to swivel around the suction cup. Closing the lever will stop the "walking". Lastly, other reviews mentioned vibration while driving. I have **not** experienced this at all. If you do, then try adjusting the foot that rests on the dashboard to sit on the edge of your dashboard. The shorter the distance between that foot and the actual holder, the less pronounced any vibration will be.

So far so good! Absolutely perfect, I’ve got an electric vehicle that doesn’t allow streaming even white charging. The arm is strong, easy to adjust and very easy to stick to the windshield! I got Gen 1 because it was cheaper 🤷🏼‍♀️

I bought this to put in a tractor, however, before I could install it, I found another way to use it. I have a MacBook which has a bad screen, so I figured I’d use this to hold an iPad that is being used as a display. Turns out, this works great. My only gripe about it is that it doesn’t come with more plastic pads to stick onto. (See the picture for reference) That way I could mount it onto multiple places without any trouble. But it is made for mounting onto glass, so I guess the pad is simply another option for mounting it. The arm is surprisingly sturdy, while still being able to be easily adjusted. Overall I think it is definitely worth the price.

This is an 8 year review of the gen 1 model. I am extremely impressed with the durability of this product. The rubber around the aluminum arm has started to crack, but remains functional. The grip on the held device is substantial. The adhesive only lasts for about two applications, but the suction is strong enough to hold the weight of a phone as long as the supporting pad is used against the dashboard. I will be upgrading to a holder with wireless charging soon, but not because there is anything wrong with it.

Great holder, you have to size it smaller than your tablet and then use the spring loaded side to keep tension.. I thought mine was bad cause I didnt watch the video/ fully get the manual. you can make it as tight as needed, no reason any tablet should go flying.

Perfect stand I was looking for my ipad. When the stand is stick on windshield it's very strong and doesn't come off .The supporting stand helps in keeping the tablet stable even on bumpy roads.

This has a relatively firm and stiff gooseneck arm, and does not rely on suction alone to support your phone or tablet. Suction holds the one end of the arm in place, but the arm is long, and rests a portion of it on your dash, meaning that when you put your phone or tablet in the other end, it pushes out against your windshield, instead of pulling on it. This isn't going to lose suction at an inconvenient or dangerous time, and dump your device. I definitely recommend it.
