Works better than an antibiotic for me!

We ordered a couple bottles. I think these work well. I started using them when I had a case of shingles and I think they helped lessen the severity in addition to a couple other products I used. Also have used when I felt the onset of a cold and the cold never materialized. I think this type of product is good to have on hand when you start feeling sick as something that can supplement other treatments you may consider. This substance is found in breast milk, and coconut milk. This means that it is gentle enough for new born babies yet effective at boosting one's immune system. When initially researching this product, a search yielded this note - "Monolaurin is a chemical made from lauric acid, which is found in coconut milk and breast milk. Monolaurin is used for preventing and treating colds (the common cold), flu (influenza), swine flu, herpes, shingles, and other infections." The supplement has also been found to be useful for keeping in balance H Pylori and candida. wellnessresourcesdotcom stated in a lengthy review of the product: "Monolaurin has been found to incorporate itself into the cell membrane4 of gram positive bacteria and have the net effect of disturbing the integrity of its cell membrane, blocking replication and making it an easier enemy for your immune system to take care of." That 2008 article would be useful to review if you still need convincing to purchase the product. The supplement has apparently been well researched and used for decades. We purchased the product because our research revealed it could help with infections noted above and it appeared to be a naturally produced and save product.

When I feel a cold coming on. I take this as recommended and 95% of the time I head it off. My mother in law is a holistic health nut, she freaks out if anyone is prescribed antibiotics. I hate going to the Dr. so I take these. They really work well. Not to say the Dr. is not the solution. I believe strongly in Dr.'s.

Ok product

I have used this product before and it works really well. I use it in the place of antibotics when immune system needs help. However, I was disappointed that this product was already 2 years old when I received it. There was a stick on note indicating that it was good for an additional year. But I would be more comfortable with a newer manufactured date on the product since do not know the conditions the Nutricillian has been stored in for the two previous years.

We use this at the suggestion of our naturopath who knows what he is doing. I do not... LOL! He uses this as a natural antibiotic. We've had our share of gut issues in our home and this is something that has helped us out. Have only used this for a couple weeks at a time. Never long-term. I wouldn't suggest it long-term as it may alter your gut flora.

Great for colds and combine it with Resbid and you will get rid of that nasty cold. Been doing it for over 15 years now its a great product.
